Born in January 1962 in the city of Soor, Martyr Emad Mugniyeh was also known as Haj Rizvan. He has recorded the largest number of operations against the Zionist Regime in the world. Family of Martyr Mugniyeh consisted of his father"Fayez", his mother and two brothers “Jihad” and “Fuad” were also martyred. His family moved from Soor to Southern Zahiyeh, Beirut, where he received his elementary and secondary education and later when he was young he went to the American University of Beirut (AUB).

Martyr Mugniyeh in the early eighties had joined “Force 17” of the military wing of the Palestinian Liberation Movement, which was a special force, to protect fighters like Abu Amar, Abu Jehad and Abu Ayad. From this time, he played a fundamental role in the operations of transfer of weapons in the Movement of Liberation of Palestine for the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, which played a significant role in Hezbollah and Amal Movement. However, in the year 1982 because of invasion of Lebanon by Israel, the Palestinian Liberation fighters were forced to leave Lebanon. Because of continuous resistance and struggle of Emad Mugniyeh, he was under the radar of at least 42 security agencies in the world since 20 years ago. Information Society of America and Zionist Regime have accused him of implementing anti-Zionist campaigns. This heroic warrior never liked to come in front of the media. He was known with different names and nicknames. Sayyid Hasan Nasrallah, the Secretary General of Hezbollah used to address him as “Haj Ahmad”. Zionists used to address him as “Bin Laden of Shias” and America used to address him as the biggest killer. Very few pictures and images of Emad Mugniyeh are known and when the inspector of federal Bureau of America (FBI) made efforts to publish his pictures, it was futile. The FBI even doubts whether Emad Mugniyeh attempted plastic surgery on his face twice or more! Americans believe that before the incident of 11th September 2001, Mugniyeh has killed Americans more than any other person.

Authority of Special Operations:

Emad Mugniyeh takes the responsibility of three operations in the year 1982 and this led to the America and France to desperately hunt for him. These operations consisted of bombing of the American Embassy in Beirut in April 1983, which led to deaths of 63 Americans; bombing of U.S Marine headquarters “Marines” in Beirut that killed 241 Americans and bombing of the military camp of France in the area “Al- Baqa” that led to the death of 58 French. Because of his extraordinary skills in planning and commanding operations, he was identified as the authority of special operation of Hezbollah. Martyr Mugniyeh remained hidden for two years until when he was found in the aircraft cabin “TWA” of America. America accused Mugniyeh of hijacking the plane at the Beirut airport and killing one of its passengers who was among the military navy of America. International media reported that for the first time in 1990 Mugniyeh performed plastic surgery on his face and then went to Beirut with his new face. According to sources, Mugniyeh held many visas from different countries and in this way he could implement the dangerous operations.

25 Million Dollar prize for Mughniyeh’s head:

America declared 25 Million Dollar prize for Mughniyeh’s head and 42 countries around the world were trying endlessly to arrest and murder him. Before his martyrdom, Mugniyeh was saved from several terrorist operations. After Sayyid Hasan Nasrallah became the Secretary General of Hezbollah, he concentrated on politics for a while and became the commander of military wing of Hezbollah. Israeli security services had accused Mugniyeh of kidnapping two military officials of the Zionist regime and later were unable to dominate Hezbollah and block their activities. Beirut siege lasted for three months and with the exodus of Palestinian fighters and Palestinian Liberation Movement in Lebanon, Emad Mugniyeh also joined the ranks of fighters of Afvaj of the Islamic Resistance (Amal Movement), which was established by Imam Musa Sadr and Martyr Mustafa Chamran. However with the transfer of Sayyid Hasan Nasrallah from Amal to Hezbollah, Martyr Mugniyeh also joined the newly formed Hezbollah. After many successful operations, Martyr Mugniyeh was appointed as the commander in guard of Hezbollah officials and then later he was appointed as head of the operations of Hezbollah. The Zionist Regime accused Mughniyeh of kidnapping two Israeli military officials in the war against the Lebanese. The English newspaper “Sunday Telegraph” wrote about Martyr Mugniyeh that he is a revolutionary warrior who paid his allegiance to Imam Khomeini (RA) as a contribution to the revolution he will give away his life too. Images that have been published of Martyr “Emad Mugniyeh” are so light that the Federal Bureau of America (FBI) has claimed that he has attempted plastic surgery on his face so that he cannot be identified.

Martyr Emad Mugniyeh was renowned for avoiding media. He was known as “Shadow Man” in the Islamic Resistance and many consider him (his brain) as “thinker” in Hezbollah. Martyr Emad Mugniyeh was martyred on 12th February 1986 in the wake of car bomb explosion in Damascus. The piety, bravery and conviction of this great personality guides many whose heart still throbs for the oppressed people of Palestine, Lebanon and Muslims all over the world.

Biography of Martyr Sayyid Abbas Musavi https://followersofthepure.com/biography-of-martyr-sayyid-abbas-musavi/ Sun, 25 Dec 2022 17:02:11 +0000 https://followersofthepure.com/?p=314

Sayyid Abbas Musavi was born in 1952 in the town of Nabi Sheet of Balabek in Lebanon. His father was among the professional architects of the tower of the mosque. After a few years, his family went to Zahiyeh, the southern part of Beirut. Sayyid, spent his first few years of school in this region. When he reached the age of 18, the love for Palestine was in his heart. He was upset with the massacre of the people of Palestine.

One day, father of Sayyid couldn’t find him at home. Later he understood that Sayyid, with some of his brothers in the resistance of Lebanon, has gone to Syria to see the military against the Zionist regime. When Sayyid’s family came to know of this, they left for Syria to bring their son back. When they reached the place of training, they saw a Palestinian and a Tunisian along with Sayyid had fallen on the ground from the rope that they were practicing. The Palestinian boy broke his back and Sayyid's leg was also broken. Sayyid's family insisted that he returns so that his leg could be treated, but he was adamant on staying. His parents even asked the authorities to explain to him and after forcing him too much he agreed to return with his parents to Beirut so that his leg could be treated.

One day, Sayyid dreamt of Imam Musa Al Sadr. Later, he told his father that he wanted to meet Imam Musa Al Sadr and his father took him to meet Musa al-Sadr. Imam Musa Al Sadr became happy meeting Sayyid and was highly impressed by the young man's courage. Sayyid lived with Imam Musa Al Sadr for a period of two years and he studied seminary course under his care. After two years when Imam Musa Al Sadr saw that Sayyid was a hard working man, he brought a turban, put on Sayyid's head and asked him to go to Najaf. Imam Musa then wrote to Sayyid Muhammad Baqir Al Sadr in Iraq and informed him about Sayyid Abbas. Imam Muhammad Baqir Sadr and Sayyid developed fondness for each other. Once when Sayyid Hasan Nasrallah went to Iraq with the letter of Imam Musa Al Sadr he enquires about Baqir Al-Sadr, he is informed that Imam Muhammad Baqir Al Sadr is monitored and only one person has the courage to take you to him and that is Sayyid Abbas Musavi.” And in this way Sayyid Hasan Nasrallah met Sayyid Abbas Musavi. First because of his skin colour, he thought Sayyid Abbas was an Iraqi but later realized he too is Lebanese. Sayyid Abbas Musavi took Sayyid Hasan Nasrallah to Imam Muhammad Baqir Al Sadr after the Ziyarat to the shrine of Imam Ali (AS). When Sayyid Abbas informs Imam Mohammad Baqir Al-Sadr that Sayyid Hasan Nasrallah wants to get trained and study under him (i.e: Al-Sadr), Imam Muhammad Baqir Al Sadr gives some money to Sayyid Abbas and tells him to get turban and spiritual clothes and from that day onwards makes him Sayyid Hasan Nasrallah's teacher. Iraq plans to assassinate Sayyid Abbas. All the scholars who were under the prosecution of the regime of Iraq assembled together and left for Lebanon secretly. Sayyid Abbas stayed for about six months in the same village and then went to Balabek.

In the year 1979, the seminary for education was established by the clerics in Balabek, who had come to Lebanon. His wife, whose name was Um Yasir, was trained under sister of Imam Musa Al Sadr, established a seminary of education “Al Zahra” for the sisters. When Israel occupied Beirut in the year 1982, Sayyid Abbas Musavi gathered all the great and brave men in 1982 and established Islamic Resistance, which continues till date. In 1970, Sayyid Abbas traveled to Iran and met Imam Khomeini and was greatly influences by his ideologies. Later, Sayyid moved to Beirut. His wife Um Yasir and his son Husain had accompanied him. His wife was also with him because Sayyid had told her that he will get martyred. When they reached the province named Tafahta on the 16th of February 1993, several helicopters came from behind the mountains and rained missiles on Sayyid's motorcade. This brutal and cowardly attack martyred Sayyid, his wife and his 9 year old child. But the guards of Sayyid survived in this brutal attack just as Sayyid had predicted. Even though Sayyid Abbas Musavi was martyred in 1993, his light still shines in the hearts of millions who know him and his sacrifice in the way Islam.

Biography of Martyr Sayyid Hadi Nasrallah https://followersofthepure.com/biography-of-martyr-sayyid-hadi-nasrallah/ Sun, 25 Dec 2022 17:00:35 +0000 https://followersofthepure.com/?p=310

On a cold Wednesday morning of 19th January 1979, in the village of Bazuriyeh was born Sayyid Muhammad Hadi Nasrallah, his father embraced the first child warmly and recited Azan and Aqamah in his ears, “Hayya alal falah (hasten towards success), Hayya alaa khayril amal (Hasten towards good deeds)”. Dews seeped from the body of the new born and his fragrance combined with the dawn breeze, settled on the highest peak of “Mount Al Rafi”. This spirit from heaven was “Sayyid Muhammad Hadi Nasrallah” that would descend to the 7th heaven after 17 years. Since the early days of his childhood, signs of being genius, stable personality, cheerfulness, kindness, humility and serving nature were evident in him. He was always kind and a faithful friend towards his brothers Muhammad Javad and Muhammad Ali and his sister Zainab. When he was 4 years, Muhammad Hadi started his school at “Al Nasser” and later at “Ar Rasool Al A’zam (SAW)” in the city of Ba’labag in the province of Baqa’. After his family moved to Beirut, Sayyid Hadi continued his studies in the Educational Center “Al-Mustafa”. This educational centre is managed under Hezbollah. In the third year of high school, when he was not more than 15 years, with the consent of his parents, dropped school temporarily to join the ranks of the Islamic resistance fighters.

Presence in the Procession of the Resistance:

Membership in the organization of Hezbollah required during the selection of the intense steps was secured; that the work related to people like Hadi Nasrallah (Son of Sayyid Hasan Nasrallah) was also conducted by Hezbollah during his entry. Intelligence officials of Hezbollah asked for him and did research related to him. He replied with a smile, “I am son of Sayyid Hasan Nasrallah.” He was replied saying, “It does not matter. Write out your personal information.” Hadi Nasrallah goes to his father and tells him, “Father, did you give orders that have bothered me and would not let me into the group?” Sayyid Hasan Nasrallah said, “Such is the system of resistance, and we should be responsive to it.” And so this way, Sayyid Hadi Nasrallah was forced to write 14 pages about him. Presence in the procession of resistance and the battlefields, made him to focus towards all his efforts and many of his days were spent in the fronts of jihad and championship and he became familiar with the heights of “Mount Safi” and “Al Lavizeh” and “Malita”. Whenever he returned to the city and home, he would not stay for more than two or three days because he could not tolerate separation from his friends and comrades and he would compensate this separation from his friends by praying to God and reciting Quran. On 4th april 1997, Muhammad Hadi tied a marriage contract with the daughter of Shaikh Ali Khatun. During his period of engagement he made efforts to make his mate as an example for women. Sayyid Muhammad Hadi was one of the fighters of Islamic Resistance and it was possible that he could achieve martyrdom any moment. He tried his wife to prepare for this day and his efforts were fruitful finally.

Last Farewell:

The last farewell of Hadi was different as related to the other farewells. His mother said, “Hadi was very calm and quiet during his last farewell and one could see a hidden smile on his face as if trying to hide something from me. When I was told that Hadi has got lost along with the other three fighters, I submitted to the will of God. I trusted God and assigned everything to him.” In response to his son’s captured body by the system of Zionist she says, “This body is also like the other bodies of the martyrs of Resistance. There is no difference between them. I am also the mother like the other mothers of the martyrs. I have heard on the news that the enemy has swapped the body of my son with the body of Zionist military which remained in the failed operations of Ansariyeh in Lebanon. They have got blind and must give all the bodies of the martyrs and free the prisoners. We do not accept just one body and do not submit to the outrageous proposal of the occupiers.”

Martyrdom:

On 12th of September 1997, three Hezbollah fighters that attacked an Israeli army near the base of Zionists in the axis of “Sajad” in the “Mount Al Rafi” in the occupied province “Aqleem Al Tafah” got martyred in southern Lebanon and their bodies came into the hands of the Israeli forces. Israeli television, without knowing the real identity of these three individuals, displayed their bloody images; it quickly became apparent that one of these three is Sayyid Hadi Nasrallah, son of Sayyid Hasan Nasrallah, secretary general of Hezbollah. This news release sounded like a bomb in the Lebanese society and resulted in an important change. In the history of Lebanon, both during the Civil War and the confrontation with Israeli aggression, no one ever saw that a son of one of the leaders of the political group and militias have been killed in the war. This incident turned out as waves of emotional gushing sympathy, respect and captivation related to the Secretary General of Hezbollah among all the Lebanese religious tribes in such a way that all the nations of Lebanon from all the religions were drastically affected by this incident. The political leader of Lebanon also went to visit Sayyid Hasan Nasrallah and gave his congratulations and condolences on the martyrdom of Sayyid Hadi and expressed his gratitude and respect related to the defiant and genuine character of the Secretary General of Hezbollah. These sympathy and respect were not limited to Lebanon and people like Abdullah, Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, for the first time in the history of Hezbollah, sent condolences to the Secretary General of Hezbollah and announced its support for the Islamic Resistance.

Biography of Martyr Dr. Mustafa Chamran https://followersofthepure.com/biography-of-martyr-dr-mustafa-chamran/ Sun, 25 Dec 2022 16:58:42 +0000 https://followersofthepure.com/?p=306

Holy Prophet has said;

“Allah does not like any drop more than the drop shed in His way.”
That which is greater than the martyr is that which he was martyred or sacrificed for, martyrs are too great to be in need of any tribute, new generations must be acquainted, with the thoughts and beliefs of great men in history like Martyr Mustafa Chamran. History is filled with shining stars like Martyr Chamran through whom it is possible to find the right way. His way is still open; it requires pedestrians to walk on His path…. So let’s embark on this journey together and get a glimpse into the life of this extraordinary personality!

“I search myself so that I will find a point through which I can understand my existence. I do not find anything but a burning heart from which flames flare up. It sometimes illuminates my existence and sometimes I’m buried under its ash. Yes, I do not find anything but a burning heart in myself. I evaluate everything with it. I look at the world through it. Through it all, colours change and the appearance of creatures changes too.”

Dr. Mustafa Chamran was born in 1932 in Tehran city, where he was brought up and received his education. He started his education in school Intesariye, in Pamnar. He attended his high school in Al Borz; later continued higher education in Tehran’s Technical University and graduated with a degree in Electronic engineering in the year 1336 (1957) with first position. After that he worked as a university professor for a year. Then he received a government scholarship from Teheran University for further studies in United States in the year 1958. He was a remarkable student; he earned his Master’s degree within a year, with excellent grades from A&M University of Texas state and after that he went to Berkeley University located in California to get his PhD in Electronics and Plasma Physics. He was a brilliant scientist; when he wrote his thesis in Physics there were very few who were working in that particular area. Berkeley University was one of the most prominent universities of the United States of America in the field of Engineering in those times and the best and the renowned scientists of Physics and Electronics would teach in that University. Mustafa Chamran within three years was able to accomplish the program of Electronics and Plasma Physics and got his PhD degree from this university.

He was only 15 years old, when he began involving with Islamic associations; he attended the Tafseer-e-Quran by Ayatollah Taleghani in Hedayat mosque and also showed interest and attended the lectures of Professor Martyr Murtuza Mutahhari on Logic and Philosophy. He was among the first members of Islamic Association of the University of Tehran.

After the bloody uprising 5th June (15th Khordad) and the fall of the government of Dr. Muhammad Musaddiq, (by the American engineered coup) began the most difficult struggles against despotism and colonialism. It was during this period that Martyr Chamran with the heavy burden of responsibilities became the standard bearer of the Islamic Revolution and tirelessly with all his strength fought against the system of imperialism (Taghut), until his migration from Iran. He accomplished the most dangerous missions in the most difficult of conditions, which exhibits his bravery and steadfastness, and loyalty towards his country.

With the help of his friends, Chamran for the first time established Islamic students association in America which was very active, and was among the founder of the Association of Iranian students in California. Because of these activities, his scholarship was stopped by the regime of Shah. But after the bloody uprising of 5th June (15th Khurdad) and the apparent suppression of the struggles of Muslims, as well as the news of Imam Khomeini’s arrest made him restless he was unable to do anything on foreign lands and so with some of his like minded friends decided to go to Egypt. Despite of having the option to stay in U.S and use its facilities he did not wish to stay there. This migration created a new era in his life.

He rejected all tempting proposals and headed towards Egypt and took training on the most difficult Guerrilla tactics from Jamal Abdul Nassir for about two years and he was the top student in the military camp of Egypt too! It didn’t make a difference for him as he had learned to be the best anywhere, whether it was in plasma physics or commando training! Immediately after that he took the responsibility of training the Iranians to be Guerrilla fighters. He was evasive, due to his deep insight in religion, beyond Muslim Nationalism he saw that the Egyptian-Arabic Nationalism was causing division among Muslims; he showed his concern to which Abdul Nassir gave affirmation and said that this Arabic Nationalism was so strong that it was very difficult to combat it; Chamran also emphasized on their lack of sufficient knowledge in dealing with the propaganda that the enemy used to sow discord among the Muslims. With their selfless attitude and honest opinion they won the hearts of the Egyptians and their views were respected.

Presence in Lebanon:

After the death of Abdul Nassir, independent guerrilla bases to train the Iranian soldiers were required, hence Dr. Chamran headed towards Lebanon to create such a base. With the help of Imam Musa Sadr, leader of the Shia in Lebanon, they formed Islamic resistance battalions that came to be known as “Amal”, which was the military wing of the Mahroomeen movement. [This movement was started in 1974 so that it may be the embodiment of the Shia political entity in Lebanon. Mahroomeen movement means Movement of the Disinherited]. Martyr Chamran became Musa Sadr’s right hand man. He was in charge of monitoring Amal’s military branches before the revolution broke out. He became the leading and founding member of the Islamic revolutionary movement in the Middle East, focused on organizing and training soldiers in guerrilla warfare; all those who had received training from Dr. Chamran later on became the soldiers of the Islamic revolution, they were also strong soldiers of the resident forces of Lebanon. The majority soldiers of Islamic organization of Palestine were trained under Dr. Chamran. These soldiers had immense faith in Allah so much so that in terrible storms of danger they embraced martyrdom, and crushed the bloody flag of the tyrant oppressors of that time, the blood thirsty Zionist occupiers and their collaborators.

Dr. Chamran, from the heart of the burned and broken Beirut to the high mountain peaks of Jabal till the occupied territory of Palestine, left many heroic memories and conquered the hearts of many oppressed Shia. The pure blood of the martyrs of Lebanon, has written the history on hot streets and mountains of the border of Israel which gives testimony of their glorious battle.

Dr. Chamaran and the Islamic Revolution of Iran:

In the wake of the victory of Islamic revolution of Iran, he returned after 21 years of absence to his country to place all of his revolutionary and scientific experience at the revolutions disposal.

Quietly but actively and strongly, he begins with the work and spends all his efforts to train the first group of Iranian revolutionary guards in Sa’d Abad. Being the Deputy Prime Minister, he quickly engrossed himself in solving the issue of Kurdistan; day and night he was exposed to danger; with courage and determination he moved forward to liberate Kurdistan.

After that the Revolutionary command was issued by Imam Khomeini (RA), in which Martyr Chamran undertook the responsibility of Commander in Chief and ordered the army so that they could reach Pave within 24 hours. He was in complete charge of that area. The desperate Revolutionary fighters that included both soldiers and the guards were relying on the experiences and leadership qualities of Dr. Chamran, and with the help of these courageous soldiers and his expertise in handling the situation he achieved the most outstanding success within 15 days, all the cities, roads and strategic position of Kurdistan were seized. When the crisis intensified, Martyr Chamran wore the military uniform and he fought against the anti-revolutionary militants in the villages of Kurdistan province. He was the plenipotentiary representative of the government in solving the crisis. Kurdistan was liberated from the clutches of the enemy, and the Muslims of Kurd embraced the victory with joy.

Chamran was appointed as the Iranian government’s first Minister of Defence and became Ayatollah Khomeini’s personal military aide. Without any delay he started implementing reformative plans to bring about transformation in the army. During the first round of Islamic Parliamentary elections, he represented the people of Tehran and decided to develop a new system of rules, especially for the army and made maximum efforts to alter the structure of the army.

After getting elected in the Parliamentary elections by the people, he gives thanks to Allah, and says, “O Allah, people have shown me so much kindness and have done many favours so much that I’m really ashamed. I do not think highly of myself so much that I cannot return their favour. O Allah, give me opportunities and abilities so that I will be able to return it and befit all this kindness and affection.”Voted as a Member of Parliament by the capital’s people, he did not become haughty. He always bore Allah in his mind.

He was the representative of Imam Khomeini (RA) at the supreme council Defence, to give him military advice. Martyr Chamran was a stunning example during the Iran-Iraq war, he exhibited bravery and was an inspiration for everyone around him he possessed a multidimensional personality; was a lion heart in the battle field but at the same time felt the pain of the needy and the oppressed, he served his country in the midst of oppression, his continuous efforts were only for the sake of Allah.

The Islamic revolution led by the great Islamic scholar, gnostic, godly and the pious politician Imam Khomeini (R.A) with the help of great personalities like Martyr Chamran, finally attained victory in the year 1979, which collapsed the most significant, secure and trusted base of American imperialism. America and its supporters witnessed the power of Islam and the untiring struggles of the Iranian people and realized that it cannot be suppressed like other revolutions and started its wrath and launched all sorts of intrigues for shattering this Islamic revolution. Among the intrigues hatched by west and the east and their allies against the newly born Islamic revolution were numerous plots for coup d’état, supporting and helping the enemies of the Revolution inside and outside the country, indulging in false and misguiding propaganda against the revolution through radio, publications and other media of propaganda and the most important of all, the imposition of a long eight year war( Iran-Iraq war) upon the Islamic Republic of Iran for the purpose of depletion of the forces of the Revolution, weakening the military and armament power of the country, and inflicting economic damages upon its reserves and industries. It was in these times; when Saddam’s army cowardly attacked the border of Iran and started destroying cities and villages attacking the defenceless people that Martyr Chamran was unable to relax and reached to serve Imam Khomeini (R.A), with his permission and along with the Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Khamenei who was another representative of Imam in the Supreme Council of Defence and the representative of the people of Tehran in the Islamic council, left for Ahwaz, he started his work on the very first night; with the help of Ayatollah Khamenei he used the technique of guerrilla attack against the tanks of enemy. They gathered a group of volunteered soldiers and by organizing and training them, formed an irregular warfare campaign. This group gradually became strong and consistent and did many services. Active engineering unit for irregular warfare campaign was one of these programs; military roads were constructed rapidly at various points. Installation of water pumps in the river basin and establishment of a channel about 20 kilometres long and 1oo meters’ short, they constructed a flowing river basin towards the enemy’s tank, which forced them to retreat a few kilometres and allowed them to build a massive barrier; this tactic kept the enemies away from Ahvaz forever.

Another of his major works from the early days was making a co-ordination between the volunteered army, cops and the military forces that were present in that region, this co-ordination between the forces, backed by the local people was almost a new war tactic, something which the superpowers did not think of previously. But unfortunately, this harmony could not be established in the city of Khurram and the forces were left alone. Martyr Chamran had planned to go to Khurram city but due to the risk of serious fall of Ahvaz, could not succeed in reaching there. Still he managed to organize the forces several times, with his continuous help they were able to resist against the successive attacks of enemy for long.

Baath regime of Iraq had their hearts attached to the victory of Susangard so that they could achieve their dreams and for the second time they attacked this innocent city, for three days they seized the city with tanks, on third day some of them could enter the city. The report of the month was as follows: Dr. Chamran was seriously upset with the blockage; he along with few of his friends and courageous soldiers with the help of Ayatollah Khamenei prepared an army in order to combat the situation. He himself organized the military forces and the Iranian revolutionary guards alongside the army and with this new game plan attacked the enemy from the road of Ahvaz to Susangard. Eager to help his fellow brothers who were captives in Susangard, headed to this city which was surrounded by enemy tanks. He himself moved forward toward the blockade and dispatched some soldiers towards the other end; it was then that the battle ensued. The commando forces of the enemy attacked him from behind the tanks; running from one trench to another his battle was on with the aggressive enemy. The commando forces of the enemy showered bullets on him, tanks were shooting at him but boldly amidst the hordes of enemy with their heavy firing responded with lightening speed and changed the trenches. His left leg was injured, but still he managed to attack one truck and capture it, with the help of an agile young man he reached inside the truck and exited from the blockade, and reached the hospital but he did not stay there for more than one night, and went to the headquarters staff of the irregular warfare, and began his work with his injured hand and painful leg. With his critical condition that same night, he called a consultation meeting of the military commanders [Commander of division 92; Brigadier Martyr Fallahi, Martyr Kallahdoz, official of the cops and Colonel Muhammad Sulaimani, chief of the staffs, Governor of Khuzistan and the representative of Imam in the Iranian Revolutionary guards Martyr Mohlati] where he proposed to attack on the heights of Allahu Akbar.

Martyr Chamran despite of the suggestions from the officials and friends did not withdraw his irregular warfare campaign from Ahvaz. With his bad condition he did not go to Tehran for further treatment, spent all his time in front of the military maps which he had kept in front of him, equipped with information about the enemy and their movement since he did not have the strength to go to the front. He constantly studied these maps and offered interesting and productive ideas which helped the soldiers a lot. After his injury, for the first time he headed towards Tehran to meet Imam Khomeini with his detailed report. He presented before him the summary of the military operations and the events that had occurred and offered his suggestions on the matter at hand, to which he received a fatherly welcome and necessary guidance. He suffered on account of his absence on the front, but made efforts of getting the act together with the help of innovative programs and valuable suggestions. He wanted to interrupt the continuous communication between the southern and northern forces of Iraq, for that reason he wanted to attack the heights of Allahu Akbar and bring his forces near the border. Finally on 21st May 1981, with a coordinated attack conquered the heights of Allahu Akbar while the enemies were still in the state of resistance, this was the biggest victory after Susangard. Together with his brave warriors of Islam and his courageous commander Iraj Rostami they were able to capture the hills of Shahsavand.

Martyrdom:

A month after the victory of the heights of Allahu Akbar on 20th June, Martyr Chamran participated in the session of the Supreme council of defence in Ahvaz, in the presence of late Ayatollah Ashrafi, he pointed out the serious lack of mobility and composure within the forces and proposed solutions to it. This was the last session of the Supreme Council of defence that he participated, before his martyrdom. On the dawn of 21st June 1981, Iraj Rostami, commander of the area of Dahlaviye got martyred; Martyr Chamran was deeply depressed by this incident. This tragedy profoundly affected Rostami’s friends and the soldiers who were very attached to him. Now Martyr Chamran summons another commander and accompanies him to the front to introduce him to the soldiers of Dahlaviye in place of Rostami; the soldiers who were yet to overcome the loss of Rostami, admired the bravery of their new commander who would put his life in jeopardy knowing the fate of Rostami. One of the soldiers beautifully compares this situation, “On the day of Ashura helpers of Imam Hussain (a.s) were martyred one after another, and his flag bearer Abbas was also martyred and finally Imam himself went to the battle field….. In this same manner our flag bearer Rostami sacrificed his life and now our brave commander will move to the front as well.” On their way to Susangard, Martyr Chamran met the late Ayatollah Ashrafi and General Fallahi; they saw each other for the last time and moved on…. He gathered all the soldiers in the canal behind Dahlaviye and gave his condolences on the martyrdom of Rostami, while addressing his pensive face illuminated the love that was filled in his heart for martyrdom, the joy that he would experience on witnessing his Lord, he congratulated the soldiers and said that, “Lord loved Rostami and so honored him with martyrdom, if He loves us He will honour us with martyrdom as well.”

And soon enough His desire to meet His Lord was fulfilled; He was finally martyred by a bomb fragment in the village of Dahlaviye on June 21, 1981.

“In the hard and stormy arena of events and in death and life’s battle between truth and falsehood , I wished to shoulder the gory flag of Hussain, I also wished to add a link to the long chain of martyrs of the right path by sacrificing myself so as to approximate humanity to perfection.”
-Mustafa Chamran.

Muhammad Ibrahim’s childhood was spent under the shadow of love of his chaste, pious and kind parents and then he entered school. During his studies he possessed an extraordinary intelligence and talent and successfully completed his high school.

During his leisure time especially during summer vacations, by working hard, he used to obtain expenses for his studies. And in this way he helped his hard working family. By the kindness, passion, love and closeness that he possessed, he added a pleasant environment to his family.

From his childhood days, his father used to say, “When I used to return home tired from work, my son used to take away all my tiredness and pain from me, and if at night I couldn’t see him, it was very unpleasant and bitter for me.”
Because of his enthusiasm in Quran and learning it, Muhammad Ibrahim insisted his mother to teach him Quran and help him in learning the chapters. He was so attached to the Quran that by the beginning of his high school he learned to recite all the chapters of Quran and also learnt a few chapters by heart.

During military service:

In the year 1352 he completed his high school and obtaining his diploma with high scores, he joined a college in Isfahan and continued studying over there. After receiving his degree, he was conscripted for military service in the army. In his own words he said that, the military service of two years were the bitterest part of his life. He was given the responsibility of the kitchen in the division of artillery.

The month of Holy Ramadan arrived and among some of his like minded soldiers, Ibrahim sent a message to the other soldiers that if they wanted to fast during Ramadan they can come and use the kitchen during sehri(early breakfast). When ‘Naaji’, commander of the army, got informed of this recommendation of Ibrahim to the soldiers and fasting of some of the soldiers, he instructed all of them to stand in a queue and without exception drink water and break the fast. After this incident Ibrahim said, “if on that day, someone would have decomposed my brain with a few arrows that would have been more acceptable for me than to see with my own eyes that how unaware of Allah S.W.T , they force us to break the sanctity of the holiest duty of our religion, and stamp the divine obligation that we have towards our Lord.”

However, these two years were not without kindness, because in this period Ibrahim got acquainted with young revolutionaries who were standing against the oppressive regime of Shah, they also managed to get some of the banned books {in opinion of Savak}. Reading of these books secretly that were provided through some of his friends, had a deep influence and constructive effect on his spirit and soul and with an enlightened thought helped him to select his path. Reading these books and acquaintance with some of those friends became the reason that Ibrahim could start his activities against the oppressive regime of Shah and disclose the face of Taghut.

During teacher hood {Early activities}:

After completing his military service he returned to his native place and chose teaching. He became busy teaching in villages and initiated in educating the children of his land. Ibrahim made relationships with the committed revolutionary people and because of the meetings and assemblies with them became more familiar with the amazing personality of Imam Khomeini (RA). He tried to follow his ideology and teachings so that the environment of school was filled with Islamic teachings.

Ibrahim actively participated in strengthening the new Islamic government, he was sent to provide educational and ideological activities in minority inhabited areas in Konark and Kurdistan. He tried and encouraged the students to study and gain insight and knowledge, but because of his preaching Islamic ideas, he was noticed by the local Savak, was even warned by them. His great spirit and fearlessness made him oblivious to all warnings and he continued his work with boldness and did not neglect his duty towards the education of the students. With the gradual expansion of the Islamic Revolution he took the flagship of the fighting youth branch. After his transfer to the branch to teach at schools in the city, he established relationship with the seminary in the city of Qom to get advice, to meet spiritual people, received notices and tapes which helped him a lot, for this purpose he travelled Qom a lot.

His passionate and fiery speeches against the regime were conducted without counsel which forced the government to take action against him. To avoid capture he settled from one city to another, first he went to Firozabad and for a while spent his time in educating and guiding the masses, but the Savak still chased him, so he went to Yasooj , he had to constantly move from one place to another to remain immune from getting arrested , from Yasooj he had to move to Gumbadan and then he left for Ahvaz and settled there residentially. During this period, different sectors of the society reacted and protested against the oppressive regime and their atrocities, Ibrahim felt the need to return to his branch so that he could actively participate in organizing the protests.

After returning to his native place, he increased his efforts and activities to bring people to the streets in anti- regime protests ,in one of his rallies , he read an important statement , where in one of its sections , was about the dissolution of Savak . This was followed by the command of his assassination and execution by the military governor of Isfahan. The agents of the cruel regime were always behind killing this brave and courageous son of Islam. But he always managed to escape the government, by constantly changing his clothes and appearance, so that the Islamic Revolution succeeds under the divine leadership of Imam Khomeini {ra}.

Activities after the victory of Islamic Revolution:

Victory of Islamic Revolution played a very significant role with the aim to develop the defence system of the country an Islamic Revolution committee branch was set up. Ibrahim was amongst those who helped the corps of the branch with the help of his brothers and three of his friends. He knew his hometown well enough, and with the help of his influential family took over the authority for the location of the residence of the corps, a significant amount of weapons were transferred from the police station over here , which were used to meet the requirements of the people.

Gradually the Hezbollah elements joined the army. When the army was organized, he took the responsibility of public relations of the army.

With the efforts of this great martyr, the smugglers, rebels and the bandits that surrounded the branch, caused trouble to the people and harassed them, were arrested and handed over to the Islamic Revolution court, and the city got cleared from these evil people trying to mislead.

His major works in this period was to bring order to the cultural and propaganda activities which had a great influence in informing youth, which helped in creating a revolutionary spirit.

Late in 1358, in terms of necessity and because of his valuable experience in the field of cultural affairs, he moved to the city of Khurram and then to the port of Chabahar and Konark {in the providence of Sistan and Baluchestan } and expanded his cultural activities.

During the Iran - Iraq war he was promoted as a commander under the reforms of Muhammed Boroujerdi, as an able and fit military commander, he participated in several operations at war front, briefly leaving war front for helping Lebanese militias against Israeli invasion.

Role of Martyr in Kurdestan:

Martyr Himmat , in June 1979 , was sent to the province of Kurdistan, with trust in Allah {S.W.T} and determination to fight , he started his work against the global arrogant agents in Kurdistan. He spent nearly two years in Kurdistan, commanding more than 20 small operations. He made it very difficult for the enemy to gain control in that region. In order to attract the deprived people of Kurdistan and eliminate their problems, he made significant efforts, to tackle the regions poverty. The Kurds were so attached to him that when it was time for him to go, the people were literally in tears and did not want to get separated from him.

Then he departed to the southern fronts of Iran - Iraq war to command Muhammad Rasool- Allah brigade. Participation in great operation Bayt al- Moqaddas and liberation of Khorramshar as well as commanding operations Ramadan and Muslim Ibn Aqil occurred in the same era.

His courage in dealing with the rebels group is worthy of admiration and praise. According to the memos obtained from the martyr, the Irani revolutionary guards have succeeded in the operations specially in cleaning the villages of bandits, and confrontation with the Bathist army. {From the month of September 1979 to January 1382}.

He eventually went to meet his Lord during the great operation Kheybar on Majnoon island Iraq, 14 march 1984, while he was less than 30 years. After a grand funeral procession, his body was buried in martyr’s cemetery of Shahreza.

His message:

As a result this Revolution will be connected to the Revolution of Imam of the time {his Excellency, Imam Mehdi} and according to this struggle, the assistance of Allah S.W.T will include the conditions of pious people.

Martyr Himmat within some speeches among the veterans said; “Imam is the manifestation of purity, innocence, purification, and a sea of knowledge. You should obey his demands one by one, so that Allah S.W.T will be satisfied by you, because he is the Supreme leader and has a high value in the outlook of Allah S.W.T.

My message is that during the absence of the Imam of our time {may Allah S.W.T hasten his reappearance}, you should have an absolute obedience to the supreme.”

Biography of Martyr Sayyid Murtuza Aviny https://followersofthepure.com/biography-of-martyr-sayyid-murtuza-aviny/ Sun, 25 Dec 2022 16:54:21 +0000 https://followersofthepure.com/?p=298

Honourable Martyr Sayyid Murtuza Aviny was born in the year 1947 in the city of Ray. He completed his initial and middle school in the city of Zanjan, Kerman and Tehran and later as a student of architecture entered the school of fine arts in Tehran university. Since childhood, he was fond of arts, wrote poetry, stories and articles and did painting. He completed his college in the same field of arts that was compatible with his nature. He had done some studies about the literature before the revolution. But after the Islamic Revolution’s triumph and the foundation of Construction Jihad commanded by late Imam Khomeini, in 1979, he abandoned architecture and started working in the mentioned organization, he began with the task of film making which was the demand and necessity after the Revolution. While doing so, he left for villages, so that he could solve the villager’s problems. Having witnessed the cruelties and injustice of the previous regime left behind for these groups of people, he aimed at making films for the Construction Jihad.

Since the beginning of his struggle in film making in the year 1358 , he travelled to villages for the sake of Allah s.w.t , when the Construction Jihad started working, their only intention was to cover each and every event related to the Islamic Revolution .For example , when the event of flood of Khuzestan took place, their group went to the province and prepared a detailed report. This report was some of the initial works of Construction Jihad team. Later on a Documentary was made namely, “Khuzistan Flood”.

The event of “ Ghayle Khosrow Naser Qashqai”, was next , it was about the uproar caused by Khosrow Qashqai , to cover this event his team had to leave for Firozabad , Abadeh and other provinces. When Firozabad was blocked, with great difficulty they passed through siege lines and reached over there. In fact, the first war that they had in any province was here, the war with the Khans . This event was then made into a T.V series called “Khan Gazideh – Ha”.

The Construction Jihad group was the first group that immediately after the start of the Iran- Iraq war went to the war front. Two members of this group got captured in Qasr Shirin on the same day itself, but the third member managed to escape from the noose of the blockage, while arrow had stricken his shoulder. The group organized once again and entered the city of Khurram to prepare a documentary on the days when this city was blocked. When they reached the city , it had yet to become “Khuninshahr” which the Iranians had named it , meaning the “City of Blood”, due to the brutal and violent attacks by Saddam Husain’s forces .However this happened soon enough , Khurram city was completely devastated by Iraqi soldiers, such that the city practically became a ghost town, the Construction Jihad team on their return to Tehran ,worked day and night to debut their first documentary about Khurram city through television , which was named “Blood Conquered”.

“Haqeeqat” was the next work of Construction Jihad, it was made into eleven parts, one of its aim was to trace the reasons of the fall of Khurram city. The city of Khurram had fallen under siege, not even a week had gone by , Martyr Aviny with his team went for the search of “Haqeeqat” to Abadan which was very badly under the Iraqi siege. This paved the way for the production for “Haqeeqat”.

The work of the team of Construction Jihad continued on the war front , and with the start of the “ Operation Val Fajr- 8, { operation Val Fajr -8 was an Iranian military operation conducted during the Iran- Iraq war , part of the first battle of AL-FAW, unlike the other operations this operation was planned entirely by professional Army officers.} were attached together and fully integrated. Martyr Aviny joined the Television team of Construction Jihad, as one of the representatives of this organisation. He left us with “ Rivayat Fath” which was a beautiful and everlasting art taken from the Islamic Combatants Bravery, Rivayat Fath {with 70 episodes} was aired regularly on television till the end of war. Regarding the motives behind the making of this series as quoted by the Martyr, “Intrinsic motivation that came in the artists of television unit lead them to the front of the Holy defence war to carry out their administrative duties and obligations . The first Martyr that this unit gave was “ALI TALABI”, who was martyred in the operation of “ Tareeq ul Quds”, and the last one of them was “MAHDI FALAHAT PUR”, who in the same year got martyred in Lebanon. Nothing else can be said, about these brave heart except that they did not get tired , despite of all the sacrifices , and were ready to fight in war again for the sake of Islamic Revolution, The most vivid day in the life of a “man” is the day when he passes it struggling in the way of Allah s.w.t and even if his life is confronted with death he will never show cowardice, and strive towards martyrdom, ready to meet his Lord.”

Martyr Aviny started press activities in late 1984, he worked for the Artistic centre since 1988 till the end of war. Moreover, along with being the head of the Television section, making documentaries related to the war, he was the chief editor of the “SURA MAGAZINE” , “ETESAMI” Magazine of Islamic Association , also published his articles. Ranging from Political issues, Judgement, Beliefs and Worship. He analyzed and criticized a series of his articles about , “Principles of Political authority in Islam” about common ideas and opinions related to Democracy, Voting, Freedom , and Equality . “Equality in relation to political ideology” derived from Revelation and Nahjul Balagha . “Political ideas of Imam Khomeini r.a”. Articles written also explained about the Government of Islam and Wilayate Faqih with relation to the Divine Government of Hazarat Rasool {s.a.w} in Madinah and Khilafat of Amirul Momeneen {a.s}, and connected the Islamic Revolution with the Movements of the Prophets”. It’s place with the wars of Islam, “Uprising of Ashura” ,and it’s different aspects with the war that have specially taken place in the recent centuries. Also, “The Apparent and Hidden blessings of the war ,” the characters of the Warriors and Baseejis were among the topics published in “ETESAMI” .

Research and thinking was also done with related contents of “Beliefs” and “worship”, which resulted in his work “Tears” and “Spring of evolution”.

Collections of the works of Martyr Aviny , with respect to quality and the variety of topics he covered , the sense of depth and originality of thoughts , the eloquence in expressions brings wonders.

“Research in the meaning of salawat” , “Hajj” and the “Allegory of human social behaviour” were some of his remarkable works which got published, “School of research on the development and principles of the west” were written for the magazine “Jihad”. “Paradise on earth” , “Naked ape” , “Lavish civilization” , “ Economic dictatorship” , “System of training and development of goals,” “Progress or Evolution” are some of the examples of the articles that were written in this series. After his martyrdom these papers were published as “Development and Fundamentals of west.’’

His course of writing continued till 1986. During these years , in addition to directing and assembly of series of “Revayate Fateh” it was his writing which later took the form of a book entitled, “Treasures of Heaven”. In the year 1987, [muharram] he started writing a book “Blood Conquest” {narrative of muharram} and wrote nine chapters out of the ten chapters of the book, while he was doing research on the events of Ashura and the martyrdom of Bani Hashim, for the tenth chapter , for some reason it was left unfinished .

In the year 1989, he taught at the University of Arts for one semester, but because the contents intended by him did not coincide with the plans of the university, he discontinued teaching. Collection of issues that were gathered in order to teach, were explained in detail and interpreted in the form of long articles entitled “Reflections on the nature of cinema” which were printed in the chapter of “Farabi’ and later the article entitled “Attraction in Cinema”, “Magic Mirror”, “Picture frame and language of cinema” etc, were published in the monthly magazine “Surah” in March 1989.

His book called “Magic Mirror” was the first volume of the collections of his articles ,which were gathered and published ,{ the articles were on the criticism of cinema}. This book proved that he had something to say in the field of cinema and also his points of view were valuable ones in the related situation. Thus his opponents turned out to be wrong.

The peak years of his journalism activities were from 1989 to 1993 .His work during this period includes a wide variety of topics. Familiarity with cinema, his experience of more than ten years in the field of documentation , directing them and making a series and assembling them became the reason to start writing about cinema, more than anything. But this did not lead to indifference towards other arts. Besides this he wrote articles about , theoretical nature and criticism of Iranian cinema and world cinema, numerous articles about arts and spirituality, new art ranging from novels ,painting, graphics and theatre , traditional and religious arts, art of Revolution etc which were published in the monthly magazine “Surah”. During the same period , Political foundations , Beliefs of Islamic regime and Supreme Leader , Opposition of Cultural Revolution with a single global culture and Cultural invasion of the West, Westernization , Intellectual Modernism and Fanaticism were some of the topics which were researched and published.

Martyr Aviny’s eloquence in expression, originality of thought was inspired by Quran, Nahjul balagha, and words of Infallibles[a.s] . He was immensely inspired by Imam Khomeini’s[r.a] personality , and all this was reflected in his work. Familiarity with the philosophical thoughts of West and ideas , opinion of the Western thinkers were criticized by him in the light of his wisdom . The cultural invasion from the Western world gave him the understanding of Political foundations, history and culture of modern civilization and all this led to his belief in Divine ideology. He considered the Western countries as a historic manifestation of Satan, and believed that the success of Islamic Revolution would bring about the emergence of a perfect human being. He specifically [ about the post renaissance ] believed that man’s ignorance and rebellion had approached its climax , which would pave the ground for repentance. Martyr Aviny called the current age as “The era for repentance of mankind “. The Islamic Revolution led by Imam Khomeini [r.a] resulted mankind to enter a new historical era which would end the intezar(wait) for our Imam e Zamana [a.t.f.s] with his reappearance to establish the rise of a “ Stable and true government ”. [Amen]

In 1992, following the Supreme leader’s decree , “Cultural Institute of Revayate Fath” was established to facilitate the production of a new series of “Revayate Fath” which would start making documentaries and film about the Holy Defence . Martyr Aviny and the crew of Film makers started their journey from provinces of war and in the period of less than a year prepared six programs out of a series of ten parts of “Shehri dar Aasmaan” [ city in the sky ] which was about the siege , fall and recapture of the city of Khurram and the preparations of the rest of the series was to be carried out which would be related to the provinces of Abadan , Susangerd , Huvayzeh and Fakkeh . “ City in the sky ” was broadcasted on television during the last months of Martyr Aviny’s life . During the making of “Revayate Fath” along with the group of cameramen and search parties whose job was to identify the martyr’s bodies [ which were there as a result of eight year long war between Iraq –Iran ] Martyr Aviny on April 9 , 1993 became a martyr due to the mines which existed in the region of Fakkeh . He became a martyr and his endless journey began near the martyrs for whose sorrows he sang lamentations and he was waiting for a day on which he could join them. Martyr Aviny joined the King of Martyrs Imam Hussain a.s and his leader Imam Khomeini r.a . On 11th April , of the same year his honourable body was escorted by the Supreme leader and a group of artists. He was laid to rest in the Behest e Zahara cemetery.

Biography of Martyr Bint Al Huda https://followersofthepure.com/biography-of-martyr-bint-al-huda/ Sun, 25 Dec 2022 16:52:08 +0000 https://followersofthepure.com/?p=293

Since the beginning of humanity, examples of revolutionary beliefs of remarkable men and women have been repeated throughout history. They were evident in the early days of Islam , when the Prophet Muhammad s.a and his wife Khadija a.s together contributed to Islam. Imam Ali a.s with wife Fatima sa , Imam Hussain a.s and his sister Lady Zainab a,s are shining examples of devoted men and women in Islam. Revolutionary Muslim women are alongside Muslim men , promoting Islam side by side, shoulder to shoulder.

Recently, these examples have been repeated in Iraq. Muslim women have participated along side their men. In the recent victories of our Muslim combatants , Muslim women have played an important role ,they worked and prayed together with men in the name of Allah s.w.t to be delivered from the tyrannical ruler Saddam in order to free the Muslim nation of Iraq .

Amina Haider Al – Sadr , the famous Muslim author also known as Bint Al – Huda, the daughter who guides, played a significant role in creating Islamic awareness among the muslim women of Iraq.

Bint Al- Huda grew up with a serious love of learning. She became aware of the Muslim women ‘s sufferings and the great disasters that were damaging Islamic ideology in her country. She grew up in a cultural environment where if a person’s roots were not firmly and decisively planted within the principals and percepts of Islam , they would have to empty the self and leave the traditional mould, put aside human values and all the traditions which kept them rooted . Then, empty headed , with an impotent spirit , crippled and without content, they would become like garbage cans which are constantly filled and emptied of dirty useless things. This was the fate of those exploited by colonialists who act through the Saddam takrity type leaders . Their point of view which seeks to undermine and poison cultural roots and plant their own instead ,so that they may plunder the natural resources which were beneficial to their own economics interests.

Bint Al –Huda saw the damaging conditions in the Islamic society, she withstood and spent her life struggling against the poisonous atmosphere around her. She emphasized traditional values , human values, religion and its wondrous principles and percepts . With her roots firm she chose to close the way to despotism, exploitation and colonialism and guard Islam, with a strong spirit full of courage and love. She saw the soul of her fellow countrymen attacked by the colonialist termites. She saw people become exactly as Saddam had willed them to be. She defended this attack upon Islam, worked for freedom - the freedom to practise what she believed in Islam, the finest gift which she had inherited from her ancestors.

At the age of 14 she recited her first poem at the funeral of her uncle {the father of Musa Sadr}. At that early age she began her social work as an exact reflection of Islamic precepts. She began a girl’s school in Kazmain, Iraq where Islamic teachings were personally supervised by her. It was named Maktab –e- Zahra . {after Fatima Zahra s.a, the daughter of the Prophet of Islam}. Her sensitivity and feelings, like those of her brother {Ayatullah Sayyid Muhammad Baqir As Sadr} under whose guidance she received her knowledge, were sensed in all her actions whether in the framework of the sweet words of a tireless teacher or in the moments when she took pen in her hands and spread forth her jewel like words upon the receptive paper. In her short - lived life ,she inspired an entire generation of men and women to do the same. Amina al Sadr was born in Kadhimiya, Baghdad in 1937. Being the only girl in her family, she was too young to remember her father, the scholar Haider Al Sadr, who died during her childhood. She was primarily educated by her mother at home , and then later by her brother Muhammad Baqir. She developed a talent for reading and writing at a very young age, which later made her the women’s branch of the Islamic Dawa party. She also played an instrumental role in the publication of the party. In 1966, she began writing in Al-Adhwaa magazine, and was one of its main contributors. Amina Al –Sadr’s ability to eloquently articulate the concerns of the masses made her an influential women in Iraq . Her prolific writing’s made her very popular, particularly among women who were unable to express their sentiments in such a way. As well as this she was readily available to help solve women’s family problems and to answer a variety of religious questions. She authored many books, many of which were fictional stories that dealt with the social problems of her time. Many of her themes were directly relevant to the struggles that women were facing in Iraq. Her purpose in writing these stories was to express Islamic point of view about various issues in life in the form of images. She believed that a concept which remains as a theory does not have a great deal of effect , but when it is put into the form of images and expressed within the framework of events of life , it will have a worthwhile effect...... because of this , the Holy Quran expresses the value and precepts of Islam through stories of Prophets and the recollection of their particularities.

At all times she wished to remain a modest profile, and was reluctant to thrust herself into the limelight. For that reason ,she refrained from using her real name in her books, instead adopting the pseudonym “ Bint al - Huda.”

When her brother , Sayyid Muhammad Baqir As- Sadr was arrested four months before she was, she , like Zainab s.a spoke out against injustice in the tomb of Hazrat Ali a.s in Najaf, Iraq. Her words held such truth and were so powerful that people of Najaf and neighbouring cities went to strike because of the unjust arrest of his brother . The atheist forces of Saddam takrity were forced to release him.

Saddam decided to initiate a program to eliminate the Islamic movement altogether. In March 1980, the revolutionary command council passed a law sentencing all past and present members of Al- Da’awah to death, including any affiliates. As- Sadr responded by issuing an ultimatum to his followers- topple the regime and establish an Islamic government in its place.

The security forces arrested Baqir as Sadr , on 5th April 1980. The next night they returned and arrested her. She said to the security officers, “it’s an great honour that you have arrested me.”And then, in harsher terms , she continued , “you cowardly bullies who follow that which is vain and useless, if you had any courage at all you would have come in the light of the day and not in the middle of the night.”

The real love of Fatima , her uncle’s daughter and her brother’s wife reflected from the endless goodness sensed in Bint al Huda . It was manifest in self- sacrifice .There were a few moments of exchange between these two women, each seeking captivity to spare the other. Finally , the reasoning that the children needed their mother made Fatima agree to stay. The final words of Bint al Huda to her were , “If I do not return by tomorrow, take yourself and the children to Kazmain. Know that I will never return.

The agents of of Saddam transferred Ayatullah Baqir As Sadr and his sister Bintul Huda to the ministry of defence in Ar Rasheed street where they were put into prison. When the news of his arrest and the danger to his life was spread over the world , prominent Muslims from different countries went to Iraq, to ascertain the truth about the matter . Two of them were important personalities from the united Arab Emirates. They contacted the close relatives of Ayatullah As Sadr and a prominent Alim from among them in Najaf said, “ at 12 O’ clock midnight on Wednesday , 8th April , 1980 , a group of the special police came to his house in three cars and asked him to accompany them in one of the cars , and on the way they warned him not to disclose the facts , they were going to tell him . He was informed that the dead bodies of Ayatullah As Sadr and his sister were with them in one of the cars , and they took him to Wadi as Salam {the cementry } in Najaf, and he buried the Martyr Baqir As Sadr and his Martyr sister Bint al Huda and conducted burial ceremony himself. The dead bodies of Ayatullah Baqir As Sadr and his sister Bintul Huda bore signs of brutal torture . The face and beard of the Ayatollah was burned and charred, and there were stab wounds and bruises on many parts of his body. His sister’s hand was burnt and her scalp peeled. The hands and feet of both brother and sister were crushed and badly lacerated , and there was dried blood on them.

Bint Al Huda was brutally martyred by Saddam takrity’s security forces , her only sin was that she showed resistance to the enemy , she wanted freedom , independence and Islam. She chose to walk on the path paved by Lady Zainab sa . She died serving these ideals as she had lived defending them. When Saddam was asked why he also killed As Sadr’s sister, in his reply he said , “I did not want to commit the blunder which Yazid did by sparing Husain's sister Zainab’’. Even the enemy knew her potential which would topple his tyrannical, anti-Islamic regime, ...........

Bint Al Huda, through her martyrdom, became a symbol of loyalty and endless struggle with despotic colonialist forces of Saddam . She was filled with virtue and the concept of jihad.
Endless greetings to you, Oh Bint Al Huda , daughter of the virgin Mary, Fatima, Khadija, blessings upon your day of birth and the day you shall stand before Allah S.W.T.

Biography of Martyr Jihad Mugniyeh https://followersofthepure.com/biography-of-martyr-jihad-mugniyeh/ Sun, 25 Dec 2022 16:48:33 +0000 https://followersofthepure.com/?p=286

“We swore never to put down our guns until victory is achieved.”
-Martyr Jihad Mugniyeh.

Martyr Jihad Mugniyeh was born on 2 May 1991 in Tirba, Lebanon into the family of fighters and martyrs. He was the son of Hezbollah commander Emad Mugniyeh, a Lebanese Islamist who fought against Israel and United states in the Middle East in a series of Guerrilla warfare. Emad’s whole career was a proof that one person can really reshape politics in the Middle East. He was one of the indispensable military commanders, the head of its Jihad council and the architect of its war strategy during the 2006 conflict with Israel.

According to Saudi news paper Asharq Al- Awsat; (one of the most widespread newspaper in the Arab world) reports;
After the death of Emad Mugniyeh, an interesting process began to unfold. As Jihad Mugniyeh, the youngest son of Emad Mugniyeh was becoming more publicly known, the eldest son Mustafa continued to stay a mystery, with a few mentions in the media. Mustafa’s identity had been kept mysterious as opposed to his brother Jihad to ensure his future involvement on secret missions carried out by the 910 unit of Hezbollah. (910 units are in charge of overseas attack).

Ibrahim Al Amin an editor of Hezbollah journal reported; after the burial of Emad Mugniyeh, about seven years ago;
The Mugniyeh family gathered at their grandfather’s house. The attendees were asked a calm direct question, “Who tomorrow, will dare to say loudly to everyone, family and comrades, as well as the enemy, “We were not killed?”
Everybody looked at Mustafa, the eldest son of martyr Emad Mugniyeh. Mustafa was his father’s companion; he accompanied him on several journeys and occasions. The family had expected him being the eldest son, to publicly announce his father’s death, however, he gave a clear answer; I am not fit for this task.

It became clear for the masters of the household that Mustafa wanted to carve his own path; and be exempted from this task. Everyone turned towards Jihad, younger brother of Mustafa. The young man Jihad was sitting between elder brother Mustafa and Sister Fatima, he realized that he was running out of options. Perhaps he was prepared for such a task. He approved of his new role. The speech was drafted and practiced, when he took the stage no one in the audience expected Jihad to be older than he was. Not only was he calm, but he acted as an impressive speaker asserting, “We were not killed?”
However, the son can precede his father, nobody expected that Jihad would go out in the public like a man; he was only 18 at that time, wrote Al Amin in his article. His appearance can indicate the potential the rest of the family saw in Jihad, who was recruited into Hezbollah operations shortly afterwards. Unlike his father and brother, everyone knew Jihad Mugniyeh. They gave him positions related to the security, which was part of the Mugniyeh family’s genetic make-up.” Says, Solomon
“As history shows, whoever went up the ladder to participate in secret Hezbollah’s operations; first held positions related to the personal security of various key members of the organization. It is presumed that this was the reason of keeping Mustafa’s identity mysterious.

After Jihad was thrust into spotlight, this dynamic young man was exposed to extensive experiences in several areas. With time, the compulsion that led him to volunteer for various roles became strong. It was not only because he was the son of “The Commander of Two victories,” to him; it was a chance to prove his abilities in the face of tough requirements.

Jihad became one of the most prominent Hezbollah officials. He was active in the group from a very young age. While studying at the American university of Beirut, one of the best universities in the Middle East, where he was a Hezbollah student activist and took a prominent role after the death of his father.

He was named after his uncle, who died at a very young age. Moreover, is considered a martyr by the family. Emad’s brother died in unknown circumstances. The three brother’s mother said prior to her son’s burial, “I wish I had more sons, so they could continue the way.” Many things have been imposed on the family, which is under continuous surveillance by the enemy. The family has offered many martyrs, Favad and Jihad Mugniyeh, brothers of Emad Mugniyeh who was familiar by his nom de guerre Al Haj Rizwan. Until his assassination, Emad was considered by some intelligence circles to be the most wanted individual in the world; which is why he shied away from the media and was known in the extremist circles as “The shadowy man.” He was also on the FBI wanted list with a US$ 25 million bounty on his head. Repeatedly he popped up in different locations around the world only to disappear again.

After offering three martyrs, the family still has the patience and willingness to face what is coming.
It is enough to listen to Jihad’s grandmother or to look at his grandfather, Haj Fayez’s face to know the title of a story that has yet to be written, and of which Jihad has become a chapter.

Jihad was perceived as a rising star within the organization, personally mentored by Iran’s Quds Force Commander General Qassim Suleimani, the most powerful Commander of the Quds force; Iran’s Special Forces created to project its power by training army in strategies of combat and covert action. In September 2013, Fars reported that, “the relationship between Jihad and General Suleimani went beyond a simple relationship of a young man with his father’s friend; they were often mistaken for father and son.” He was also very close to Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nassrallah, his father’s replacement Mustafa Badriddine. After his father’s death, Sayyed Hassan Nassrallah and General Qassim Suleimani will be remembered as Jihad’s spiritual fathers.

Since his father’s death, Jihad appeared at memorial events held by Hezbollah. In 2013, he was seen together with General Qassim Suleimani, in a visit to Iran, which Jihad made to express his condolences for the death of Suleimani’s mother, which shows the friendship they shared.

Jihad became a senior commander of Hezbollah despite his young age, and the fact that he pledged allegiance to the main leader of this group strengthened the resolve of the organization.

Internationally recognized as Syrian territory, the Golan Height has been occupied by Israel in 1967 during the six-day war establishing the Purple line. The Purple line was a cease-fire line between Israel and Syria after the 1967 six-day war. During the Syrian civil war, Hezbollah entered the war in support of the Syrian Army. Hezbollah was able to develop a footing in Golan Heights with the help of Syria and Iran, and conducted an important base in that area. Jihad Mugniyeh was in charge of Hezbollah base in Golan Heights along with Samir Kuntar. (Samir Kuntar was a Druze member of the Palestine Liberation Front. After his release from prison as a part of 2008 Israel-Hezbollah prisoner exchange, he received the Syrian order of merit medal honored by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad).

Hezbollah also brought various defense lines in that region, and deployed nearly thousands of people on those lines in order to prevent the passing of Sunni fundamentalist in Lebanon through Syria.

The Israeli newspaper “Haaretz” has claimed in their report that the 107mm Katyusha rockets were fired from the region of Golan Heights towards the Israelis during Israel’s war on Gaza, they suspected the presence of Hezbollah in that area.
The presence of Martyr Jihad Mugniyeh in the region of Golan Heights was also reported by CNN website, as follows; in an interview conducted by a member of the Syrian opposition delegation, which was led by National Assembly, reported that the FSA’s military intelligence agency has obtained information, which indicates that Hezbollah has put Jihad in charge for Golan Heights. The Syrian opposition figures also mentioned that Hezbollah had a very strong foothold in that region which helped them to dominate the strategic area of “Tal Al Hara” (Tal Al Hara is less than 20 km from the Israeli controlled Golan Heights). The data also suggests that Hezbollah affiliated centers had special facilities that could link them to the units stationed on the borders of Golan Heights. The importance of this region intensified since the armed opposition was able to gain control of that area and got access to the passage of Quneitra and Tal Al Hara, which had a devastating impact on the regions map. Hezbollah was able to take control of those areas by pushing back the Syrian opposition forces strategically.
On Sunday afternoon 18 January 2015, this also marked the anniversary of the 22-day war that Israel had waged on Gaza and faced failure. Jihad along with a group of Hezbollah fighters was assassinated in a targeted air strike by Israeli helicopter, while they were on a field inspection in Quneitra in the Syrian Golan Heights, just a few hundred meters from internationally recognized ceasefire line separating Syria from Israeli occupied Golan Heights.

The annals of resistance abound with sacrifices; there are no limits until the goal is achieved. Liberation and victory, for the sake of which everything is easy; as the aspired goal makes up for the losses and the endeavors. Jihad sought to obtain the title of rightful heir to a path, which obviously ended with the grand prize of martyrdom. He was put to rest on top of his father Martyr Emad Mugniyeh in the same grave.

Family memories will last forever

Fatima Emad Mugniyeh sister of Jihad Mugniyeh, in the first interview with a media outlet since the Zionist entity assassinated her father Emad Mugniyeh in Syria in 2008. (Al- Manar website).

“I do resemble my father a lot, even Jihad did,” she told us when we visited her house in the Lebanese capital of Beirut. “You have led me to search among my memories,” Fatima muttered as she was searching her room for a souvenir from her father. She took a picture of her family when she was a child and said; “ Jihad was the blond boy,” pointing at her younger brother martyr Jihad, who was killed in the latest Zionist aggression on the Lebanese Resistance when the enemy targeted a Hezbollah envoy in Syria’s Quneitra and killed seven fighters, including an Iranian General.

Fatima went on to say that, their relationship with their father Emad Mugniyeh was strategic and tactical, without being limited to the daily details of each other’s life. “My younger brother Martyr Jihad also used to say that if our father were still alive, he would have been very happy about how mature and aware we have become, she recalled, explaining that her brother Jihad and she herself were less mature when her father Emad died, especially Jihad.

Fatima assured that the martyrdom did not separate her from father martyr Emad, or from her brother martyr Jihad. “I feel them everyday.... They are alive and I am sure of it.”
“I was feeling safety in their presence as much as I still feel it in their absence.” Fatima confirmed, stressing that, “Our enemy is the one who will lack tranquility.” Interviewed by, “Somayya Ali”

Biography of Martyr Mustafa Badriddine https://followersofthepure.com/biography-of-martyr-mustafa-badriddine/ Sun, 25 Dec 2022 16:46:30 +0000 https://followersofthepure.com/?p=282

“I will come back from Syria only as a Martyr or holding the banner of victory.”
- Martyr Mustafa Badriddine

He is an enigmatic Military Chief of Lebanon’s Hezbollah who remains shrouded in mystery. With his powerful Shi’ite Militant movement giving out no information, this Hezbollah Leader left no footprints, Ilyas Faud Saeb, Sami Isa, Sayyid Zulfiqar, Mustafa Amine Badriddine, Mustafa Yusuf Badriddine all were aliases of Hezbollah’s secretive Military Commander, Mustafa Badriddine has been described in court records as “An Untraceable Ghost”. Born in the Southern Beirut suburb of Ghobeiry on 6 April 1961, his parents are Amine Badriddine and Fatima Jezeini who originate from South Lebanon. Badriddine had a pronounced limp, believed to have sustained while he fought alongside Pro-Palestinian and Pan-Arabism Militias during the Israeli invasion of Lebanon in 1982. Badriddine studied political science at the Lebanese American University, there are almost no images available of Martyr Badriddine, and two that were available by the Tribunal were dated one showing him as a teenager and the other apparently from his days in Kuwait. Martyr Badriddine left few personal records, investigators for the UN trial say they found no driving licenses or passports, no property formally owned by him, no record of him ever having left Lebanon, no bank accounts, and no photos from around the time of Hariri’s assassination. In the opening sessions of his trial in absentia in “The Hague” the prosecutors said, “He passes as an unrecognizable and untraceable ghost throughout Lebanon, leaving no footprints as he passes.”

Mystery intrigue shrouded the man who was responsible for some of the most spectacular victories for Hezbollah.

Who is Martyr Mustafa Badriddine?

Although his life achievements cannot be briefed within a short biography, this piece of work provides an unbiased and fair analysis of one of the most important personalities, dedicated in his memory and to the spirit in which he lived and worked finally to attain the supreme status of Martyrdom.

This Hezbollah Military Commander was aged around 55 and hailed from the south of Lebanon, bordering Israel. His Military career started in the ranks of the PLO’s Fatah movement. He was a part of Fatah’s Force 17 with his cousin Emad Mugniyeh,[ Force 17- was a commando and special operations unit of the Palestinian Fatah movement] following Israel’s invasion in 1982; they both joined the Hezbollah movement newly created by Iran’s elite Revolutionary Guards, where he formed jihadi groups and trained them to confront the Zionist entity. Martyr Badreddine was one of the most prominent mujahidin who encountered the Nazi invasion in Beirut and Khaldeh; where he was injured during the clashes. Badriddine was arrested and sentenced to death in Kuwait in 1983 over his suspected involvement in a string of co-ordinate bombings in the tiny Gulf-Emirate that also targeted the US and French embassies. They were believed to be retribution for Kuwait and the west’s support for Iraq in its war with Iran. Shi’ite activist high jacked a plane in Kuwait in 1984 and a TWA aircraft to Beirut the following year to demand Martyr Badriddine’s release. After his release from the prison of Kuwait, he started his Resistance activities and campaigns under the resistance of sensitive military and security agencies. Martyr Badriddine was frequently targeted by the Israeli intelligence agencies; he spent his whole life struggling against Israel. He was among one of the team members who stood steadfast in South against Israeli army and became a hurdle for them to enter. He was a member of the shura council for Hezbollah and the head of the unit for overseas operations, Hezbollah’s external operations branch. His aide was Abdul Hadi Hammade, who previously commanded Hezbollah’s secret position 71 [Hezbollah’s secret position 71, a Special Forces unit that engages in counter-intelligence and internal security.] Badriddine served as the commander of Hezbollah’s military arm, and the advisor to Hezbollah’s Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah. Hezbollah remembers Martyr Badriddine as a commander of the veterans. It was a known fact that he could aim and shoot with two guns at a time. He was also very intelligent related to the military tactics, masterminding difficult operations, co-ordinating sophisticated networks that precisely tracked the enemies’ moves. He was adhered to security protocols and he never used mobile phone for more than a day, he never allowed anyone else around his location to use a telephone. Hezbollah praised Badriddine as a great jihadi leader who took part in most of the Islamic Resistance Operations since 1982.
In 1992, the Martyr became the Commander of Hezbollah’s Central Military unit, started establishing Military formations and made strategic training plans. He was the mastermind behind many heroic operations against the Nazi occupation, which forced the Nazi army to withdraw cowardly in 2000. Martyr Badriddine played a prominent role in confronting the major Nazi aggression on Lebanon in 1993, obliging the Zionist Prime Minister Issac Rabin at that time to acknowledge the fact that Hezbollah defeated the Zionist entity.

After the major Zionist aggression on Lebanon in 1996, Martyr Badriddine succeeded in driving the world to acknowledge the Resistance’s legitimacy and its right to defend its country.

In 1997, Martyr Mustafa Badriddine had a central role in planning and supervising the Ansariya Operation, which killed scores of elite Zionist troops. He was further able to dismantle scores of Nazi spy cells in Lebanon. Abbas Fneish, on the sad occasion of the martyrdom of Jihad Mugniyeh had an exclusive interview with Martyr Badriddine, “Hours in the company of 110” {110- one of the secret names of Badriddine} where he received the privilege of being in his company, he says, “ I seized the opportunity to ask Sayyid Mustafa Badriddine a question.” “Talking about the south, aren’t you the author of the term “The war of minds.”? To which he replied, “There is a long story behind this term?” Ansaria operation 1997, He says, “Listen my dear, if you really want to know about the ‘war of minds’ go back to Ansaria.” He becomes silent for some time as if recalling memories, then says, “Haji Emad Mugniyeh and I prepared for this operation.”

May Allah bless Sayyid Mustafa Badriddine. He revealed something; and to this day, the whole story was untold.

An insight on “The Ansariya Operation” by “Naim Qassem” {Hezbollah: The story from within}

The Ansaria Operation bewildered Israel; the Israeli elite squad Shayetet marine commandos infiltrated the environment of Ansariya in South Lebanon district of Sidon on the night of September 5, 1997. Upon their arrival at the target destination, they fell into a tight ambush prepared by the Resistance mujahedeen. All sorts of weapons were used, in the following three hours of clashes the result were seventeen casualties on the Zionist side, their remnants spreading all over the combat zone. Despite intervention by the Israeli Air Force and efforts at clearing the place of any traces, the mujahedeen fighters succeeded in gathering bodily remains of hands, feet and head of one of the infiltrators, which later proved as an important asset in the exchange for detainees in Israeli prison. What the enemy did not know back then was that Resistance was well aware of the planned operation, and Hezbollah combatants stood ready to receive the infiltrators, shadowing the Israeli forces from the moment of their landing on the shore to their passage into the fields until they arrived in Ansariya. Mujahedeen fighters were present with vital weaponry in the zone; this explains the intensity of the engagement the type of weapons used the extent of losses on the Israeli side and the necessity of Israeli air force intervention.

Sayyid Nasrallah’s revelation, “that Hezbollah was able to capture images from Israeli drones before and during Ansariya operation” thus allowing the party to prepare a deadly ambush for the Shayetet commandos; was a humiliating slap in the face of Israeli Military establishment. Not only did it loose several members of its elite naval commando unit, “Shayetet 13” but it also led to the cancellation of Israel’s plan to retaliate. They had no choice but to admit that Hezbollah succeeded through its own counter intelligence efforts to learn about the operation in advance. A new victory was added to the Resistance’s record.

Martyr Badriddine replaced his mentor and brother in law Martyr Emad Mugniyeh as Hezbollah’s security chief after the latter was killed in February 2008 attack in Damascus, and when the Shi’ite movement intervened in support of its ally President Bashar Al Assad in Syria’s civil war, to help the Syrian government drive out foreign backed Takfiri terrorists from the country. He became head of the military operations. With the inception of the Syrian crisis in 2011, Martyr Badriddine was one of the first commanders who confronted the Takfiri plot across Syria. Martyr Badriddine was Hezbollah’s highest-ranking secret operative, he was impeccable in his battlefield strategy.

According to Tasnim news agency (Tehran), Israel is widely known to have been supporting terrorists fighting to topple Syrian President Bashar Al Assad. According to Israel’s channel 2 television, Israeli medics have treated more than 2,100 militants injured in the war on Syria since 2011. In December 2015, the British newspaper “Daily Mail” said, “Israel has saved the lives of more than 2,000 Takfiri militants since 2013.” The Syrian Army has repeatedly claimed to have seized sizable quantities of Israeli made weapons and advanced military equipment from militants in Arab countries.

Lebanese resistance movements are determined to combat the Israeli regime and terrorism. Since the inception of Syrian conflict, Hezbollah has sent thousands of combatants; between 5,000 to 6,000 according to “Charara”, since 2013 to help fight both rebels and jihadists. Experts say, Hezbollah has lost 1,000 to 2,000 fighters.
Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah, heaps praise on the movements of military commander Mustafa Badriddine, saying, “He was a front runner in the fight against Israel alongside his predecessor Martyr Emad Mugniyeh in the 2006 war against Israel before assuming several responsibilities including the dismantling of Israeli spy networks. Martyr Badriddine was tasked with overseeing Hezbollah’s security and military units in Syria since Takfiri militants initiated a war there in 2011. Hezbollah fighters are combating alongside the Syrian government forces against a range of terrorist groups operating in the war torn Arab country, including Daesh and the Al-Qaeda affiliated Al- Nusra Front. The Hezbollah leader said that initially Martyr Badriddine was directing the Syria operation from Lebanon, but later insisted on traveling to Syria to oversee in person the sensitive operation. He was also trying his best to prevent the Syrian conflict from spilling over Lebanon and keep the Takfiri terrorist at bay. Martyr Badriddine’s presence in Syria helped Hezbollah prevent the fall of the country into the hands of Takfiris and their American masters and spies in the region.”

Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah concluded his speech by saying, “I say to you with all confidence, throughout our 34 years, we have witnessed worse circumstances than what we are dealing with today. With our loyalty, steadfastness and commitment to our ongoing march on our path of Resistance, we shall overcome this phase as well. In this battle, we are advancing and achieving victories. The Americans, the Zionist and Al Saud said they would gobble up Syria five years ago, but Syria still stands today. This is because of the sacrifices of our Martyrs. Indeed, Sayyid Mustafa Badriddine’s blood and the blood of all our Martyrs is the fuel, which is driving us to victory in this historic defense of the Muslim nation. The death of our commander would not lead to Hezbollah withdrawing from Syria, Martyr Badriddine’s blood will push us to a greater presence in Syria and more leaders will go into Syria. This is how we honor our Martyrs and bring defeat to the US-Zionist-Takfiri-Saudi project.”

Months before his death, Badriddine said he wouldn’t come back home from Syria unless as a martyr or a carrier of the banner of victory.

He was a strong and courageous commander who never gave up defending the cause of the Lebanese Resistance movement. This brave martyr spent many years of his life on the front lines of battles against the Zionist regime and its mercenaries in the region. Badriddine was in a warehouse near Damascus airport when it was rocked by a blast, according to Syrian security, no aircraft was heard before the explosion and no one knew of his presence there. The airport and its surroundings adjoin an area of fighting around the Lady Zainab shrine, which is revered by shi’ites around the world. The Syrian army controls the area and the Iranian and Hezbollah fighters are present in force. The closest rebel positions are four miles away in eastern Ghouta area. The blast was a result of artillery bombardment by Islamist extremist groups in the region. Against all odds, Martyr Mustafa Badriddine continued his struggle until he embraced the honor of martyrdom in Damascus on May 13, 2016. He is buried close to his brother in law Martyr Emad Mugniyh in the Rawdat Shahiyadayn cemetery in the southern suburbs of Beirut.

The mainstream media have imposed their biases on Martyr Badriddine, this was just a preliminary sketch, intended to acquaint the reader with the martyr’s life and the main aspects of Martyr Badriddine as a great jihadi of exceptional stature.

Martyr Badriddine possessed a multifaceted individuality; he was an elegant amalgam of emotional, intellectual and moral qualities, which made him an attractive personality. He went by different nom de guerre, but “Zulfiqar” best suited his fearless personality. {Zulfiqar being the name of the legendary forked sword of Imam Ali a.s, the prophet’s cousin and one of the most revered figures in Shia Islam.} The lovers of Ali a.s are known to possess extra ordinary qualities, which might seem unnatural to others, they are brave and fearless on battlefields, but when they hear an orphan cry their heart will melt. Martyr Badriddine displayed these contradictory personalities impeccably; there was a “Zulfiqar” side and a “Badriddine” side to his personality. They both contradict each other and yet are complimentary to each other in their own way. To witness the “ Zulfiqar” aspect in him it is enough to see his entrance in a gathering, everything is reduced to silence ; you are mesmerized by the perfect alliance of strength and security you witness in his presence. He adores the power parades, the oath, beating of drums accompanied by the self sacrificing martyrs, the giant posters, the military march, the impeccable military costumes albeit this cannot be compared to his brilliance in his military career.

The “Badriddine” side of him is caring and compassionate, he takes care of soldiers and makes sure that they are properly fed and taken care off; he made sure that always the Guards and Fighters should eat first. Even when he was jailed in Kuwait, he was nicknamed “Kilqass” for this very habit of his, he stole the hearts of everyone even the jailer. During the lamentation council of his brother in law’s martyr son Jihad Mugniyeh, a wave of memories surges with the power of an ocean and he is engulfed in grief, overtaken by tears.

He addresses those who consoled him on the death of his brother in law’s son Jihad Mugniyeh, by recalling a poem from the Egyptian poet Martyr Hachem Rifai under the title, “The mother of the martyr lullabies her baby to bed.”

The mother of the martyr lullabies her baby to bed.
O! My baby, Sleep in this cradle guarded by hope.
My eyes are sleepless for pains that grow at night.
I am singing my sad song, and I am about to cry!
Buy I raise my hands to the skies to mend the pace of the skies.
Once again, the “Zulfiqar” side of him overpowers, and he quotes the poem of a Libyan poet Amro Khalifa Nami, in an attempt to answer,
In a procession for the callers towards righteousness, we follow them
On the path of guidance, which we founded.
On both its sides is our resting place
And our skulls form its pillars
O mother! Do not have fear, for Allah is our guard.
We are moving on a path we have excelled in!
He is “Badriddine” and “Zulfiqar” all rolled into one, a fine blend of compassion and bravery.

On the funeral of Martyr Mustafa Badriddine, I asked his pals who attended, “Can you describe Sayyed Badriddine in a single word?” Puzzled, they all replied, “Zulfiqar”

Biography of Martyr Abbas Babae https://followersofthepure.com/biography-of-martyr-abbas-babae/ Sun, 25 Dec 2022 16:43:41 +0000 https://followersofthepure.com/?p=278

‘Innovation is born out of limitations’, Iranian military hero and Martyr Abbas Babae reminds his fellow officer after they struggle with the lack of replacement parts for their fighter jets. This was our war hero always inspiring fellow officers that they should never give up in the most difficult of times. Let us study the lives of these marble men of yester years who inspire us to put aside our own interests and sacrifice for the greater good of the regime.

Aviation journalist and Iran-Iraq war expert Tom cooper reports: His research indicates:
... Col. Abbas Babae, an officer differently described as the mastermind of IRAF’s capability to keep its F-14 fleet intact or simply a war hero.”

Abbas Babae was born in a middle class religious family in Qazvin in 1950. He studied in Dehkhoda primary school and graduated from Nezam Vafa high school in his hometown Qazvin, and entered the air force pilot school in the year 1969. When he completed his initial training, he left for United States in order to complete his pilot training in 1970.

According to the rules of the college, Babae had to live with an American roommate for two months, at first, the Americans would justify this work as a way of enhancing the student’s English language, but the reality was something else. Abbas would do all his religious practices in any condition and he hated the licentiousness and immorality existing within some American students. Describing Abbas’ morality and behavior in a report his roommate stressed, “Babae is a reserved and isolated person and indifferent to customs and social norms. His behavior actually indicates his negative stance against western culture. He is strongly committed to the traditional culture of Iran. He also pointed out that Babae would go to a corner and talk to himself (Babae would actually perform his daily prayers in that corner).

After completing his training, he returned to Iran, during that period the advanced aircraft F-14 launched, and Babae being among the gifted, skilled pilot of fighter aircraft F-5 with some other colleagues flew the F-14, and he was transferred to the Isfahan base. With the rise of struggle against the Shah’s rule, Babae, as one of the Revolutionary Air Force Personnel entered the army.

After the success of the Islamic Revolution, his days engaged as the head of the Islamic Community Database to safeguard the achievements of the glorious Islamic Revolution. He was committed to his work and his management expertise gave him new heights, on 27 September 1981, he became the commander of the Eighth Air Base. He used its existing facilities for the development and prosperity of the rural poor living on the outskirts of the Base. Apart from strengthening the Islamic Revolution, he also over viewed the drinking water supply, sanitation, electricity and the education in the village. His remarkable service to the people, endless commitment as a commander of the Base was recognized and got him promoted as a Colonel and a Deputy of Air Force Operations on 30 November 1983. He was transferred to Tehran. His courage, self-sacrifice and a strong spirit of martyrdom are penned down in the golden pages of history of the sacred defense and the army air forces.

With more than 3000 flying hours with different fighter air crafts, majority of his time was spent on flight operations or battlefields in the southwest. From the year 1985 until his martyrdom, he accomplished 60 combat missions successfully. He was a pioneer in all combat missions.

During the war, after carrying out their missions when Air Force fighters wanted to land safely in their country, they had to fly at low heights with full speed because of enemy’s radar. Consequently, Iranian fighter pilots were mistaken for enemy fighter pilots and unfortunately hit by mistake during the defensive attacks. This had a very negative impact on the soldiers. Martyr Babae solved this problem, designed a comprehensive plan, and executed it until the end of the war. With this plan, he could rescue pilots from being killed and was able to speed up organizing process and operations in Air Force.
He found out that the Air Force bases are near to the front lines in the south, so he determined a path from the base to the front line and assigned a pilot for each base, keeping in mind the Anti Aircraft artillery base. He knew that Iranian pilots had more information about air tactics and they could recognize Iranian fighters from hostile ones. Every day before sunrise, these pilots fixed their defensive positions, with the list of fighters and their take off schedule. During the day when a fighter approached the defensive positions mentioned in the list, the Artillery got informed not to shoot and the fighters landed home safely.

This plan had a 90% success rate and the pilots regained their lost confidence.

Babae who was a brave veteran of battlefields was promoted to the rank of Brigadier General on 24 October 1983.

He was also the Commander of Ra’ad Base, an army air force base in the 8th Valfajr operation. This base was responsible for airborne transportation of forces, especially martyr’s bodies, wounded soldiers, equipment and close fire back up.

On the morning of 6 August 1987, which was Eid Al Zoha, General Babae with one of his fellow pilots of Air Force went on a mission in order to identify the work area operations; they took an F-5 training aircraft from the Air base of Tabriz and entered Iraqi airspace. While returning on the completion of their mission he was gunned with an anti aircraft gun, he died in the air over Iraq.

It is said that a few days before his martyrdom, in response to his friend’s insistence to attend the Hajj ceremony, he replied, I will reach on the day of Eid Al Adha.”

Major General Abbas Babae was 37 years old at the time of his martyrdom. He was a great man raised in the school of martyrdom; he was a fighter whose piety and devotion was a roaring sea and whose moments of life were full of ups and down and tumultuous waves. From the time, he knew himself he struggled a lot to take steps only for the sake of Almighty Allah’s satisfaction.

Iranian military hero and martyr Abbas Babae finally on the day of Eid achieved his aspiration to attain martyrdom; his name is immortalized in the history of Iran. He is a legend who has a burial place of honor at a shrine in his hometown Qazvin.
