In the name of Allah, who is never far from my existence and an inspiration for me to join Him while remembering Him. Peace be upon Husain (a.s), chief of the martyrs and an example to mankind. Dear mother, and kind wife, dear father and brother! Peace be upon you, who were never a barrier for me in striving towards Allah. How patient you all were. As you all know my profound love for the martyrs, who were similar to the birds always flying towards the kingdom of the Almighty, an example to mankind, who had faith to become immortal by giving their life in the way of Allah and gaining proximity to him. They are the ones who gave meaning to the words of my Lord,"Innallah ashtari menal momeneen" (certainly, Allah takes from the faithful).

 Desire for martyrdom has made my existence within myself unbearable, feeling lost and trapped within a cage eager to find freedom from this captivity, barbed wires are barriers for me! I hate the deceiving, materialistic world which detaches you from your Lord. (Evil desires).

During our military operations, brothers could feel their martyrdom they would become spiritual and luminous.
Dear ones! This is the second time I’m writing this will, I know that I don’t deserve martyrdom, because of the captive state I’m in , I feel that I’m unclean and not pure.

I started out on this path, since the beginning of Islamic revolution. But after the victory of the Islamic revolution, I found my place of refuge with the soldiers. My involvement in eradicating the counter revolutionary activities of Khans in the province of Shehereza and Samiram ,and later participating in Khuzistan, and my involvement in winning back Khurram city. After which, I visited Seestan and Baluchestan (Chabahar and Konark) and finally moving towards Kurdistan, where I’ve spent two years. It seems that the war is merged with my existence. Allah has been kind to me and has given me the taufeeq (help) to struggle in his way. I’m still with this world awaiting for the next, the wait that will unite you with your beloved.

 O my dear ones note that:

1. If Allah blesses me with a child, since I couldn’t be at home for even a week since the day I selected a wife for myself, I would love him to be trained like Imam Ali [a.s].My wife is an extraordinary person, very patient and she loves Lady Zainab, she will enjoy training my child, cause she has found the true path. If we are blessed with a son, name him ‘Mahdi’ and if we are blessed with a daughter, name her ‘Maryam’. Because my wife will like these names.
2. Imam Khomeini is an immaculate personality; he is an ocean of knowledge. Implement every single of his orders so that Allah is pleased with you because he is the Supreme leader and holds great position in Allah’s eyes.
3. Whatever money I have, first, pay my debt to the Tehran Revolutionaries [headquarters] and the rest my wife can spend however she likes.
4. Our nation is the miracle nation of the century and our nation has and will sustain by the sacrifice of martyrs and by seeking the assistance of Allah, so that we can join this revolution to the revolution of Hazrat Mahdi [ATFS] and in this continuous efforts, surely Allah will always help the believers.
5. If my mother, my family or my wife is anxious or discontented because of me, I won’t be happy. Entrust me to Allah and be patient and brave.

Life is beautiful, but martyrdom is more beautiful! Assurance for oneself is appealing, but the bird of love finds it’s self trapped in its own existence and wants freedom into the blissful garden.

Didn’t He create a narrow neck so that in the battlefield of Karbala it is slaughtered easily for the love of it?Didn’t He take an eternal oath from the sons of Adam to love Husain more than their own life?
Doesn’t the mortal travel through exhaustion so that the abode of soul gets flourished?
Did He create a restless lover to leave him abandoned on earth just to sleep and drink?
And if the ladder to the heavens didn’t exist, does anything except fat worms and skeleton come from within the soil?
O martyr, O he who is on the threshold of his eternal existence, reach out to us and pull us out of this void.

Martyrdom is a choice, that a martyr accepts fully being conscious of the risk involved. A warrior chooses his path with all awareness, intelligence, logic and reasoning. I know that there are only two ways, either die to live or live to die. In short, either accept red death (martyrdom) or live a miserable life (black life) and accept Black Death (is the fate of a meek person who accepts scorn in order to remain alive). Black life is the life of slavery and humiliation. But red death is a step taken willingly for the sake of Allah, complete annihilation to find the absolute truth.

And, me who is an infinitesimal drop of the fathomless ocean of this nation has accepted martyrdom and I am thankful to Allah that my blood has become worthy of acceptance as the blood of a martyr. Though my aim was clear and you knew about it, I have a few things to say to you. Father, forgive me that I could not fulfil desires of your heart but I hope that I have been able to make you proud. O my dear mother, O precious jewel of creation near me, whose bitter stories of life lies in the beads of transparent tears. A mother who suffered in winter trembling and summer’s sweating, besides my father to earn bread. I know that I have never been anything to you but trouble all my life. But I sincerely hope that in the afterlife I’ll repay your efforts with my martyrdom. Brothers, after my martyrdom don’t leave the battlefields empty and do not rest till the end of the revolution. Even if the enemies cut you into pieces, don’t show weakness and satisfy your enemy’s heart. My will is for those dormant who like to have a turtle head! For how long are you willing to betray your own country? If you are not a traitor, be a free man and choose this path to success and help this revolution.

“…for love I sacrifice.
For love I look into the unobservant world and find other aspects.
For love I see world beautiful and worship its beauty.
For love I feel God, worship Him and offer my life and existence.
Love is the purpose and the motivation of my life.

I have never seen anything more beautiful than love and I never asked for anything more than love. Love makes my soul shudder, and makes my heart throb, makes the hidden talents appear,
It gives me freedom from selfishness and arrogance, I sense another world; it sweeps me away from my existence,
I find tender feelings, sensitive heart and a beautiful sight.
Quivering leaf, a twinkling star, small termites, the breeze of dawn, waves of the sea, beautiful sunset; makes me captive and carries my soul away from this world to another…
These are all manifestations of love.

I am prepared to die; I’m familiar with this for some time. But for the first time I write a will. I’m happy that I will attain martyrdom this way.
I’m happy that I will go to my final abode.
I have left everything in this world.
I’ve neglected all my interests.
I’ve torn the constraints.
I’ve divorced the world thrice and I welcome martyrdom with open arms………”

Below is the letter written by Martyr Sheikh Baqir Al-Nimr to his mother before his martyrdom.

Patient mother of mine, Salam.
I must be grateful to my Lord in all circumstances.
I am submitting myself to whatever He has decreed for me.
O mother! Whatever the Lord of the universe predestines for us is without a shadow of doubt better than what we have predetermined for ourselves.
We make plans and Allah makes plans for us, certainly He's the best planner.
We stand on his threshold and pray to grant what is best for us.
Everything in this world is preordained according to Allah's will and wisdom.
No power has the capacity to resist against His will, yet no one can move away further without the will of Almighty.
Dear mother, the Lord has control over everything and his certainty has engulfed everything, and that's enough for us.
Dear mother, may your Lord protect all souls.

This is Muhammad Reza Dehghan Amiri, son of Ali Reza Dehghan Amiri.

I bear witness to the oneness of Allah and bear witness to Islam and Quran,

And the Prophethood of Muhammad s.a.w and the leadership of Ali a.s and his eleven sons,

Of whom the last is Hazrat Hujjat Qaem Alae Muhammad a.t.f.s, his rule will set up justice in the world and he will avenge the blood of Lady Fatima s.a. {May Allah hasten his reappearance}.

Peace and greetings to all my friends, acquaintances and relatives…

I humbly request all my loved ones for forgiveness and I am grateful to my dear parents for all the efforts through which they guided me towards the path of bliss and welfare, this humble servant could not do even a little in return for their sacrifices.

I ask forgiveness from them and I am in great need of their prayers.

I thank my dear brother and hope that he embraces martyrdom and the spirit through which he struggles as the daily basis of his life.

My sister who constantly supported me, and who showered her infinite love on me. I hope that you will pray for me and always remain steadfast like Lady Zainab s.a.

I ask forgiveness from all my friends from the university and mosque and all my teachers and professors.

I ask all my friends to remember this humble servant in their prayers and if I have been careless related to your rights on my shoulder; then please forgive me.

According to the verse of the Holy Quran, Surah Baqra, verse 156 which says,

“Who, when disaster strikes them, say, “Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we return.”

Be patient and make patience the basis of your life.

Nothing remains in this world except “Allah” If you are sad and grieved, remember Ashura, our grief cannot be compared to the grief of the mother of sorrows, Lady Zainab s.a.

Never cease to lament on Aba Abdillah and Lady Zainab s.a and be truly assured that it is only with the remembrance of Allah that the heart finds rest and peace.

On your journey to Syria, you created uproar
Igniting a revolution in its wake

You gave sermons on destitute Imam Hussain a.s
Karbala is alive because of you
Karbala, the cries, the sufferings would have been lost in time had it not been for you
You witnessed pain and difficulty
You witnessed looters and riders
You witnessed the crimes committed by wretched Hurmala
You suffered along with the caravan

In the name of light...

May Allah bless you O mother O Fatima Zahra s.a. Peace be upon you!
Recon not those who are slain in the way of Allah to be dead. Nay they are alive with their Lord being sustained. {Surah Aal e Imran, 169}
Only few hours left to leave, the closer I come to leave, the more my heart becomes impatient...
I don’t know what to write?? And how to express my feelings...
I don’t know how to express my happiness??
How and in which language to thank Allah??
I’m duty bound to write a few lines as my Will with pen...
I do not know what made my destiny so beautiful, to be on this path of love...
Without a shadow of doubt my mother’s chastity, lawful livelihood of my father and a God fearing spouse played a crucial role in where I am today...

Part two:

I yearned for martyrdom day and night. It is my conviction that with martyrdom the highest levels of servility can be achieved...
I have struggled to attain this position, unaware of how much I have managed to succeed...
My eyes are eager, waiting to be bestowed by Allah’s beneficence and the love of Ahlul Bayt, hoping that they accept my shamefaced existence and have mercy on me.
Praise is to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.
If you receive the news of my martyrdom, then understand that the reason is only Allah’s beneficence and blessings bestowed upon me...
He and He alone has the power to forgive shamefaced existence of men like us...

My beloved wife, Zahra:

When you receive the news of my martyrdom, know that I have reached my ultimate destination, the true aim for which I married you; have pride in the fact that your husband sacrificed himself for the sake of Lady Zainab s.a
Have patience and imagine yourself in the presence of Lady Zainab s.a. Her trials and tribulations are greater than we could ever imagine...

My dear father:

Throughout my life you have always be my stronghold. You are the living example of courage for me... when you receive the news of my martyrdom, imagine Karbala and remember the time when Imam Hussain a.s came near his son Ali Akbar who was a part of him... your pain is not more than the pain of Aba Abdillah a.s.... Be patient... I know it will be heartbreaking for you but Allah will help you.

My dear mother:

Ummul Baneen sacrificed four of her sons for Aba Abdillah a.s without even raising an eyebrow.
Even when she received the news of her son’s martyrdom, she asked only about Imam Hussain a.s... likewise when you receive the news of my martyrdom, be patient like Ummul Baneen and rejoice with pride that you sacrificed your son for Imam Hussain a.s and Lady Zainab s.a. Never gladden the hearts of our enemies by being restless.

Part three:

My dear brother:

When you see my body wrapped in a shroud, remember the tragedy that befell on Aba Abdillah a.s as he came near the body of his beloved brother Abbas s.a, martyrdom of Abbas s.a literally broke his back...
Be grateful and never doubt the gift that you have presented Islam....

Beloved sister:

While bidding farewell to you, father and mother I recalled the time when the women of Ahlul Bayt were bidding farewell to Ali Akbar s.a, so if I attain martyrdom as well , remember Ali Akbar’s sacrifices, your loss is nothing as compared to the losses of the women of Ahlul Bayt...

My beloved son Ali:

Forgive me my son....
I will not witness your growing years...
Your transaction from adolescence to manhood....
Try and continue my legacy.... try to do a work that leads to martyrdom for you.

Dear mother and father: {in laws}

I have always accepted you as my parents and I am content that you will witness my fate...I am happy that I was destined to be a part of your family..
I request nothing of you except patience. Always remember Ali Akbar who was also a newlywed son in law in Karbala...
Please forgive this humble servant’s shamefaced existence...
If I have any of your rights on my shoulder, if I have slandered you or became the reason of your heartache... please forgive me.
If, I attain martyrdom...
I will intercede for you.

Part four:

Do not be heedless towards Wilayat-e-Faqih, know that I have achieved certainty that Imam Khamenei is the true deputy of Imam e Zamana a.t.f.s.
I want all my dear sisters and all the women of the Ummah of Holy Prophet s.a.w to reinforce their veil each and every day. Let not any Na Maharam get attracted to you with even a single strand of your hair. Let not the color of your face become the reason of attraction for others...
Never neglect your hijab.
Always imitate the women of the household of the Prophet s.a.w .Especially Lady Fatimah Zahra s.a should be your role model.
Remember the lines from this poetry...
When Ruqayyah s.a addressed her father and said, “Do not grieve for the sake of my hijab, O beloved father... it has been burnt of course but it is still covers my head...”
I humbly request my fellow brothers of the Ummah of the Holy Prophet s.a.w to beware of the western culture and its deviation. Always look upon Imam Ali a.s as your role model.
Be prepared for the appearance of Imam E Zamana a.t.f.s and sacrifice yourself for him. Prepare yourself to fight against the unbelievers especially Israel as the day is near.
Serve Allah s.w.t with complete sincerity, within your servitude lies your success in hereafter.

I have a few rights left on my shoulder; I want my family to take care of it on my behalf:

I owe one million tomans to my grandmother’s father.
Little indebted towards brother Mohsen Himmati related to the cultural products and other works.
I owe 32 thousand tomans and a few snoods to the base of the martyrs of Amir Abad foundation.
If possible please recite prayers and fasts of one month on my behalf, in case I have missed prayer or fasts so that it gets compensated for me.

My will to the Muslims and ones made weak (Mustad'afeen):

My brothers and sisters!

The Islamic Revolution is not a historical event or social gathering! This Revolution is Godly and full of light. This revolution is not limited to a specific area of one people, no!

The Islamic Revolution is a gift of Allah which He has bestowed to human beings and all who seek freedom. The Islamic Revolution is a prelude to the pure life (Hayat Tayyibah) which the Prophets and Messengers, and all true religions, were after.

 A speech with my friends in the training centre of Martyr Avini:

The task of nurturing is very holy and is a big jihad, however to the same extent it can have negative effects. First we should know that we are not the nurturers, Allah is. Nurturing is the task of Allah, He is the Nurturer (Rabb). Our skill is to first place ourselves, and then others, in the atmosphere of Allah's nurturing. At a level lower than this with regards to this issue, Allah granted us a great blessing and that is Wilayatul Faqih, which is the nurturer who is given by Allah to nurture the Islamic community. We should be aware that todays nurturer is the Wali al-Faqih.

We are not allowed to use any idea or thought in nurturing ourselves. Our nurturing has to be under the system of Wilayah (Nizam Wila'i) so that the result of it is being the soldiers of Imam Mahdi (atfs). Today, the scale and the best speech, after the Quran and Ahlul Bayt is the Wali al-Faqih. Any view of an individual or any thought which reaches us from others has to be measured against the barometer of the Quran, the Ahlul Bayt, and the leaders of the Islamic revolution, and if the smallest deviation is seen in it, it cannot be accepted, even if it is from the most famous scholars.

The spirit of the revolution must be an atmosphere of the governor (hakim) on the atmosphere of the nurturing. If it is not as such, (for example) if in the afternoon on the anniversary of Ashura if it coincides with an event of the revolution, we will see which individuals only claim (to follow Imam Hussain) and which individuals were sincere, those who would go after the gatherings with an emotional atmosphere and who do not know the purpose of Imam Hussain's tragedy. On the 13th of Aban which coincided with the day of Ashura, some instead of being on the scene of war and slogans and standing against the Isitkbar (those seeking to be arrogant), they are in the gathering beating their chests. This is from the effects of infiltration of "American Shi'ism" in Iran. Our duty as a nurturer is to always observe the views of the nurturer of the society, and to view ourselves as being ordered to carrying them out, even in very particular issues.

My will to my elder son Mohammad:

Dear Mohammad, my dear one!

I did not want you from Allah for myself. I wanted Allah to grant me a child who will become a soldier for Imam Zaman (atfs). I always wished for my son to be the support of Imam Zaman (atfs), not my support!

My dear Mohammad, the most important will to you is: to completely follow the Wali al-Faqih, after that have a relationship with the Quran and Ahlul Bayt. Do not live for yourself, live for Imam Mahdi (atfs), study for Imam Mahdi (atfs), exercise for Imam Mahdi (atfs).

My will to my son Ahmad:

Dear Ahmad!

A few months before you were born, I was on the verge of entering the shrine of Rasulullah (S), when your mother rang me and said: Ayatullah Khamenei has chosen the name Ahmad for our son. At that moment, in the presence of Rasulullah (S) I prayed for you and your brother to be amongst the soldiers of Imam Zaman (atfs).

Dear Ahmad! My main will to you is: to completely follow the Wali al-Faqih. Put effort into preparing yourself intellectually, spiritually, and phsyically, for helping Imam Zaman (atfs).

All praise is due to Allah, Lord of all the worlds. I thank Allah for all of His blessings. I thank Allah for the existence of the Ahl al-Bayt (as). I thank Allah for the Islamic Revolution.
I thank Allah for the blessing that is Wilayat al-Faqih. I thank Allah for bringing us into this world at this time - a time in which good individuals such as Imam Khomeini and Imam Khamenei became those who took on the responsibility and held the flag of this great Revolution. Truly this revolution requires us to give thanks, and thanking [Allah] for this revolution means to serve and protect this revolution. A Revolution in which the great Imam [Khomeini] introduced as being the starting point of the great Islamic revolution whose flagbearer is Imam Zaman (atfs) may our souls be sacrificed for Him.

How sad that there are people after serving the Ahl al-Bayt (as) and Imam Zaman (atfs) and are heedless to the fact that serving the Ahl al-Bayt (as) in this day and age is the same as serving the Islamic revolution. A revolution which is from the fruits of the blood of the Prophets and Messengers. A Revolution which is from the fruits of the difficulties and hardships our Master Rasulullah (S) went through.

The Islamic Revolution is from the fruits of the jihad of the leader of the women of both worlds [Lady Fatima]. A revolution who is from the fruits of the blood of Imam Hussain (as) and His companions in Karbala. The Islamic Revolution is from the fruits of the difficulties of the good ones, pure ones, the martyrs in the previous ages and in this age. This makes our responsibilities much heavier.

O one who serves in the majlis of the Ahl al-Bayt (as)! If this service does not end in you serving the Islamic republic, you have gone on a wrong path!!! How beautifully our Imam put it: "[There is a] Pure Muhammadan Islam [and an] American Islam" Therefore we should know that we have gatherings of pure Muhammadan Islam, and gatherings of American Islam!

O Allah! Forgive us for all of the shortcomings we have had with regards to the Islamic revolution, and make the rest of our lives, and the lives of our families, and our wealth, and our honour, in service of this great blessing!

Firstly I have something to say to our Master and Leader, Imam Zaman (atfs)

O my Master and Leader!

My Master! I am thankful of you because of all the [acts of] kindness you have bestowed upon me whilst I was in the world, and I am ashamed that I was not thankful for all of these blessings; however I have hope in this family's mercy and generosity and with this hope I am alive and I give my life.

Although I have not placed in effort in nurturing myself and becoming a soldier for you, I give my life out of hope that promised day in which they will call: "Come out of your graves and come and support your Master I too with permission from my Master will come out of my grave with my sword tied around my back, and that I will be a solider under your command. It is a big wish and it is bigger than my mouth, however my Leader! It isn't wrong for a youth to have wishes!

When I think about the heedlessness and carefreeness of myself in the times in which I should have supported your religion and the revolution, this wish of mine seems too big, however your generosity is bigger than that.

In my life I strived not to solve any personal issue with your help, and I never swore by you for anything worldly, however right now in the shrine of your grandfather Imam Reza (as) I swear by your mother that you train all of the youth this Islamic revolution and after all them you train me, for us to support you and for you to pick us as your soldiers.

My Master! They tell me that I have a wife and children, why do you go to Jihad? My Master! Some don't know that the day in which I become seperated from you is when I have to become worried for my family, and Allah willing they will not see such a day. I see myself, my spouse, and my 2 children, as soldiers of your camp. Now one of these soldiers has been tasked with a duty, nothing will go wrong, because there is a commander! We only have to be careful that we do not leave this camp. My Master! You help us.

How sweet life will become when it becomes your camp. This life is heaven.

A speech to the representative of Imam Zaman (atfs) and Wali Amr Muslimin:

My dear Leader!

From that day in which I became a bit familir about your status, and each day this familiarity increased, my responsibility towards you also increased. I understood that in the Godly system, behaviour towards you is the same as behaviour towards Imam Zaman (atfs). I understood that because of [being in] a time in which you have the task of having guardianship [Wilayah] over us from Imam Zaman (atfs), you are the reason behind me getting the intercession of the Ahl al-Bayt (as) and if you are not pleased with me, Allah, Rasulullah, and Imam Zaman (atfs) will not be pleased with me.

I want from you to be pleased with me [overlook] the shortcomings I had with regards to the orders which you mentioned a number of times, by the right of your forefathers.
I know that I was not a good soldier for you, however I strived for myself and for my family to always have respect for your orders. From that day in which I heard your pleasure lies in Syria not falling, I wished to also have a share in carrying out this command of yours, and now that I have the divine ordainment[tawfiq] of Jihad in this scene, I thank Allah and I ask Allah that He makes me beneficial and effective in this scene.

My dear Leader!
Labbayk (responding) to your order is the Takbir of Hajj, it is the Labbayk to Rasulullah, it is the Labbayk to Imam Hussain, and the great Imam (Khomeini) taught us this, because Wilayat al-Faqih is the Wilayat of Rasulullah, pray for me and be pleased with me so that Allah will be pleased with me.

Bisme Rabbe Shohda va Siddiqeen
O Allah, send your blessings upon Muhammad (saw) and his family.
Lord, who has done a favor upon us by creating us as human beings out of all His creations.

All praise is to Allah who favored me with the Holy Land of Iran. And thanks to Allah who granted me a righteous father, mother and a wife.
I thank Allah infinitely who has infused the love of the Martyrs and Leader of the Martyrs in my heart and gave me the taufiq to serve Islam. Allah I thank you a lot to have given love of Imam Khamenei in our hearts through whom we learned to know the Yazidis of our time and also learnt not to surrender or bow our heads in front of the enemy . I request all of my friends, relatives and with those I have acquaintances to please follow the commands of Imam Khamenei inorder to not go astray from the right path. Because he is best in identifying who is a friend of Islam and who is its enemy. I request my father and dear family to not grieve profusely after my death instead cry and grieve on Aba Abdillah (as) and his children and companions.

I request my mother and father, my wife and my daughter to forgive this humble servant. I have been careless in paying rights of my parents. I have been the reason for their inconvenience. Only Allah is the witness of all the troubles that they both have taken to make me safe during the war and after the war. They made sacrifices for my studies and education. Only Allah knows how much trouble I have caused them both and they tolerated all the difficulties just so that I achieve perfection and have a best of both the worlds. I am grateful towards my parents who encouraged me to choose my path even during my youth. I wanted to go Najaf for studies and my parents respected my decisions. Once again I ask my parents to respect my decision. Please do not be unhappy with anyone or anything. To fight against the enemies of Islam had been my wish and Allah knows how much I have been longing for this. I lamented towards my Lord to fight against these enemies. It might be possible that some people might question my parents but please do not listen to their words because I believe in the step I have taken.

I ask forgiveness from my dear wife because I was not an ideal husband to her. I want to tell my dear wife that I know after me my daughter will become an orphan and you will be taking all the troubles but keep this in mind that Prophet Muhammad s.a.w has said: Whoever becomes orphan Allah is his guardian. Hence believe that Allah is always with you. I have a wish that our daughter Fatemah becomes just like Lady Fatemah (sa), that is, the one who always is a defender of Wilayah. I want to tell all my family, friends, relatives and everyone whose rights lie on my shoulders to forgive this humble servant because I am aware that my Akhlaq and behavior was not worthy of martyrdom, it was only a gift and blessing of Allah who granted this to us. People of Iran, please keep this in mind that we have shed blood to protect our country and the religion of Islam. Our children became orphans, our wives became widow and we left our parents to morn our death, only and only for the sake of Allah.

A person who achieved your proximity, for what does he need his life, for what does he need his family and sons and wives.
You make me fall madly in love with you, my Lord!
You grant us both the worlds.
A person who is madly in love with You, what will he need both the worlds for...

Lady Zainab (sa), the moment you were alone in Damascus surrounded with the enemies, we did not give ourselves permission that they disrespect you and the family of Imam Husayn (as). The era of oppression of the Shias has come to an end.

I testify to the main principles of Islam

I testify that there is no god but Allah. I testify that Muhammad is the Messenger of God. I testify that Ali bin Abi Talib and his immaculate children – the twelve Imams – are our Infallible Imams and that they are “Hujaj Allah” (God’s proofs).

I testify that the Day of Judgment is true, the Quran is true, Heaven and Hell are true, the questioning and answering (on the Day of Judgment) are true, and that Resurrection, God’s Justice, Imamate and Prophethood are true.

Oh God, I thank You for Your blessings

Oh God, thank You for transferring me from one loin to the next, from one century to the next, and from one family to the next, until You bestowed on me the blessing to live during a time when I could see one of your most prominent Friends who is close to and a companion of the Infallibles, Your righteous servant – the Great Khomeini. And, I thank you for letting me be his soldier. If I did not have the blessing to be the companion of Your Great Messenger, Muhammad al-Mustafa, and if I did not live during the period of the oppression of Ali bin Abi Talib and his immaculate and wronged children, You helped me tread the same path on which they laid down their lives – which are worth all the universe and its creatures.

Oh God, I thank You for letting me take the path of Your other righteous servant – after dear Khomeini – whose innocence even surpasses his righteousness, a man who is today’s sage of Islam, Shi’ism, Iran and the political world of Islam. This man is dear Khamenei (may I sacrifice my life for his sake).

Dear God, thank You for allowing me to associate with Your best servants, for giving me the opportunity to kiss their heavenly faces, and for letting me smell their divine scent – the Mujahideen and Martyrs on this path.

Dear God, Capable, Mighty One and Merciful Provider, I prostrate before You in gratitude and humbleness for having helped me take the path of the purest Fatimah and her children in the Shi’ah religion – the true scent of Islam – and for letting me shed tears for the children of Ali bin Abi Talib and the purest Fatimah. What a great blessing it is, your greatest and most precious blessing. It is a blessing that contains light, spirituality and restlessness, in which there is the most assuring peace of mind. It contains sorrow that is coupled with tranquility and spirituality.

Dear God, I am grateful to You for giving me parents who were poor but pious, who loved the Household of the Holy Prophet of Islam, and who always treaded the path of purity. I beseechingly ask You to associate them with Your Friends in Your Heaven and allow me to meet with them in the Hereafter.

Oh God, I have hopes for Your pardon

Oh Dear God, Oh Wise and Unique Creator, my hands are empty, and so is my backpack. I rush to you without any provisions, hoping that You will treat me to Your banquet of pardon and generosity. I do not have any provisions with me, for what provisions does a poor man need in the presence of a generous Lord?

My shoes are filled with the hope of Your Grace and Your Generosity. I have brought with me two closed eyes, which contain a treasure in addition to their impurities. That jewel is tears shed for Fatimah’s Hussein, tears shed for the Household, and tears shed in defense of the oppressed, the orphans and the innocent who were caught in the claws of oppressors.

Oh God, I have nothing in my hands. They have nothing to present, nor do they have the power to defend. However, I have stored something in my hands, which I am hopeful about, that is a continuous movement towards You. When I reached out my hands towards you, when I put them on the ground and on my knees for Your sake, and when I carried weapons in order to defend Your religion, these are the wealth that I carry in my hands and I hope that you have accepted them.

Oh God, my legs are frail and have no stamina. They do not have the courage to cross the bridge that crosses over Hell. My legs tremble even when crossing an ordinary bridge. Woe to me, as Your path (the bridge over Hell) is thinner than a hair and sharper than a sword. Nonetheless, I harbor some hope that I may not tremble and that I may find salvation. I set foot in Your sanctuary and circled around Your House (the circumambulation of the Holy Ka’bah). I ran bare-footed in the shrines of Your Friends and between the shrines of Hussein and Abbas. I bent and hugged my knees in long trenches. And, I ran, jumped, crept, wept, laughed and made others laugh, cried and made others cry, and fell and picked myself up in defense of your religion. I hope that you will pardon them (my legs) because of these jumping, crawling, and these holy shrines.

Oh God, my head, my wisdom, my lips, my nose, my ears, my heart and all parts of my body harbor the same hope. Oh most Merciful, Compassionate God, accept me and accept me in purity. Accept me in a way that I will be worthy of seeing You. I do not want anything other than meeting You. Heaven for me is being next to You, Oh Allah.

Oh God, I have been left behind the caravan of my friends

Oh dear God, it is many years now that I have been left behind a caravan. I have constantly sent others towards it, but I myself have been left behind it. You Yourself know that I have never been able to forget them. Their memory and their names always echo, not in my mind, but in my heart and in my eyes with tears and sighs.

My dear God, my body is becoming infirm. How could You possibly not accept someone who has been waiting at Your door for 40 years? My Creator, my Beloved and my Love, I have always asked You to fill my heart and my soul with the love of You. Let me burn and die in being apart from You.

My dear One, I have wandered into deserts feeling restless and ashamed of being left behind. I go from one city to another and from this desert to the next in winters and summers, because I harbor a hope. Generous God, my Beloved God, I have fixed my hopes on Your Generosity. You know that I love You. You know that I do not want anyone other than You. Help me join You.

Oh God, terror has engulfed my whole existence. I am not capable of controlling my will. Do not disgrace me. I ask You, for the sake of those whose sanctity You have vowed to preserve, to join me to the caravan that has come towards You before I see the sanctity of these shrines being disrespected.

You, Whom I worship, my Love and my Beloved, I love You. I have seen and felt You many times. I cannot remain separate from You any longer. It is enough. It is enough. Accept me, but only when I am worthy of You.

A word with my Mujahid brothers and sisters

My Mujahid sisters and brothers in this world, you who have offered your lives for the sake of God, risking your lives and putting them on sale in the bazaar of love, please pay attention. The Islamic Republic is the center of Islam and Shi’ism. Today, Hussein bin Ali’s base is Iran. You should know that the Islamic Republic is a sanctuary, and if this sanctuary is preserved, others will be preserved as well. If the enemy destroys this sanctuary, no sanctuary – neither the sanctuaries belonging to Ibrahim nor Muhammad – will remain.

My brothers and sisters, the world of Islam is constantly in need of leadership, one that is connected to and endorsed by the Infallibles in terms of Islamic law and jurisprudence. You know perfectly well that the purest religious scholar who shook the whole world and revived Islam – our great and pure Khomeini – stated that “Wilayat-e-Faqih” is the only prescription for the salvation of this nation. Therefore, those of you who believe in it as Shi’ah Muslims and based on religion, and those of you who believe in it as Sunni Muslims and based on logic, should know that you must refuse to abandon the tent of Wilayat, and without any discord among yourselves. This tent is the tent of the Messenger of God. The basis of the enmity against the Islamic Republic throughout the world, is for burning and destroying this tent. You should circle around it (like the circumambulation of the Ka’bah). I swear to Allah, I swear to Allah, I swear to Allah, if this tent is harmed, there will be no sign of God’s House (Ka’bah), Madinah - where the shrine of the Holy Prophet is located – Najaf, Karbala, Kadhimiya, Samarra or Mashhad, and the Holy Qur’an will be damaged as well.

A word with my Iranian brothers and sisters

My dear Iranian brothers and sisters, you honorable and glorious people for whom I, and individuals like me, wish to sacrifice our lives thousands of times – as you sacrificed hundreds of thousands of lives for the sake of Islam and Iran – you should take care of the “Principles.” The Principles means “Wali-Faqih” (Guardianship of the Islamic Jurist), in particular that sage and that oppressed man who is imbued with religious piety, jurisprudence, spirituality and religious understanding. Dear Khamenei should be very dear to you. You should know that respecting him is like respecting the sanctities.

Brothers, sisters, fathers, mothers, my dear ones! The Islamic Republic is experiencing its most glorious period today. You should know that it does not matter what the enemy thinks about you. What did the enemy think about your Prophet? How did the enemies behave towards the Messenger of God and his children? What accusations did they make about him, and how did they treat his immaculate children? The enemies’ reproach, censure and pressure should not divide you.

You should know – and you do know – that the most important achievement of dear Khomeini was that firstly, he applied Islam to help Iran, and then, he put Iran at the service of Islam. If it were not for Islam, and if an Islamic spirit had not ruled over our nation, Saddam would have rent our country to pieces like a predatorial wolf, and the U.S. would have acted in the same manner like a rabid dog. However, Imam Khomeini’s accomplishment was that he brought Islam to the help of this nation. He brought forth Ashura, the month of Muharram, the month of Safar, and Fatimiyah (the period of mourning for Hazrat Fatimeh (phuh)) to help this nation. He created revolutions within the revolution. It is for this reason that in every period, thousands of self-sacrificing individuals laid down their lives to shield you, the Iranian nation, Iranian soil and Islam. They humbled the biggest worldly powers. My dear ones, do not become divided over the “Principles.”

Martyrs are the axis of dignity and respect for all of us. They have joined the vast ocean of God, the Pure, not only for today, but for eternity. You should regard them as great in your eyes, hearts and on your tongues, as they truly are great. You should familiarize your children with their names and their photographs. You should look with respect at the children of Martyrs who are the orphaned children of all of you. You should respect their wives and their parents. In the same way that you treat your own children with leniency, pay special attention to them in the absence of their fathers, mothers, wives and children.

You should respect your Armed Forces which are headed by the Wali-e-Faqih for the sake of defending yourselves, your religion, Islam and the country. Likewise, the Armed Forces should respect, protect and support the nation, its honor and its soil, in the same way that they defend their own homes. As the Commander of the Faithful – the Leader of the Pious – said, “The Armed Forces should be a source of dignity for their nation. They should be the castle and the refuge for the oppressed and the people, and they should adorn their country.

A word with the dear people of Kerman

I have a point to raise with the dear people of Kerman, a lovely people who made the greatest sacrifices throughout the period of the 8-year Holy Defense and sacrificed great generals and honorable Mujahideen for the sake of Islam. I always feel humble before them. They trusted me for eight years for the sake of Islam. They sent their children to deadly battlefields and difficult wars such as operations Karbala-5, Valfajr-8, Tariqul-Quds, Fathul-Mobin, Baytul-Moqaddas and other operations. And, they founded a great and valuable army in the name of and for the love of our Infallible Imam, Hussein bin Ali – the Tharallah Division. That Division frequently made the hearts of our nation and of the Muslims happy, working like a sharp sword and erasing grief from their hearts.

My dear ones! Today, I am no longer among you due to divine destiny. I love you more than my father, my mother, my children, my sisters and my brothers, because I spent more time with you than I did with them, while they were my flesh and blood, and I was theirs. They accepted for me to dedicate my life and my existence to you and to the Iranian nation.

I would like Kerman to remain with Wilayat till the end. This Wilayat is the Wilayat of Ali bin Abi Talib, and its tent is the tent of Fatimah’s Hussein. You should circle around it. I am with all of you. You know that I paid more attention to humanity, to affection and to innate nature than to political colors. I am addressing all of you who consider me to be a part of you and as your brother and your child.

I ask you in this will to not leave Islam alone in this period of time, when it has been manifested in the Islamic Revolution and the Islamic Republic. Defending Islam requires intelligence and special attention. When it comes to Islam, the Islamic Republic, sanctities and Wilayat-e-Faqih in political matters, know that these are the colors of God; therefore, you should prefer the colors of God to any other color.

A word with the families of the Martyrs

My children, my daughters and sons, children of the Martyrs, fathers and mothers of the Martyrs, you shining lights of our country, and brothers, sisters and loyal, pious wives of the Martyrs! The voice that I heard every day, to which I was so attached, that gave me so much tranquility like the voice of the Quran did, and that I considered to be the greatest source of spiritual support for me was the voice of the children of the Martyrs, which I would listen to almost every day, and also, that of the Martyrs’ fathers and mothers in whom I felt the presence of my own parents.

My dear ones, as long as you are the mentors of this nation, you should appreciate your value. Reflect and manifest your Martyrs in yourselves in such a way that whenever someone sees you, they feel as though the fathers and children of Martyrs are the living images of the Martyrs with the same degree of spirituality, power and qualities.

I beseechingly ask you to forgive and to pardon me. I was not able to do what was necessary for many of you, or even for your martyred children. I ask for forgiveness and for you to pardon me.

I would like my body to be carried by the Martyrs’ children in the hope of receiving God’s attention, thanks to the touch of their pure hands on my body.

A word with the politicians of the country

I have a short point to make to the politicians of the country, both to those who refer to themselves as “Reformists” and to the “Conservatives.” What made me suffer the most was that we usually forget – or sacrifice – God, the Quran and values under two circumstances. My dear ones, no matter what rivalry and contention you have with each other, if your actions, words and debates weaken religion and the Revolution in one way or another, you should know that you will receive the wrath of the Holy Prophet of Islam and the Martyrs on this path. You should set limits. If you want to stand together, the condition for being together is agreement over the Principles and expressing them in an outspoken manner. The Principles are not lengthy or detailed (and therefore not open to interpretation). The Principles are comprised of a few important tenets:

1. The first is believing in Wilayat-e-Faqih in practice. This means that you should listen to his advice and act on his recommendations and warnings as the true physician of religious laws and science. A person who wishes to undertake a certain responsibility in the Islamic Republic should know that the main condition is having a true belief in Wilayat-e-Faqih and acting on the Wali-e-Faqih’s words. I am not speaking about a “Burning Furnace Wilayat” (This refers to a narration from Imam Sadiq (pbuh) where he asked one of his followers to sit in a burning furnace, and the follower immediately submitted to his order without hesitation.), nor a Wilayat due to law. Neither of these two will solve the problem of unity. Wilayat due to law is particular to people in general – including Muslims and non-Muslims - but Wilayat in practice is particular to officials who wish to undertake the important affairs of the country, an Islamic country with all these Martyrs.

2. Having true faith in the Islamic Republic and what it has been founded on. This includes morals, values and responsibilities, whether responsibilities towards the nation or towards Islam.

3. Employing pure individuals who believe in the nation and who are the servants of it, not individuals who evoke the memory of former Khans, even if they are elected as a chairman in a very small village.

4. They should establish a method, which includes confronting corruption and refraining from it, and also includes avoiding a luxurious lifestyle.

5. During their term of office in any position of responsibility, they should consider respecting the people and rendering services to them to be acts of worship. And, they themselves should promote values, not boycotting them over vain excuses.

Acting as the fathers of the society, they should pay attention to their responsibility in the area of cultivating and protecting the society, rather than supporting behavior - driven by negligence and emotions and for the sake of winning the votes of people who have a transient feelings - that would promote divorce and corruption in society and would cause families to break apart. Governments are the main factor in both strengthening families as well as in causing families to break apart. If the Principles are acted on, everyone will be on the path of the Leader, the Revolution and the Islamic Republic. Then, there will be a proper competition based on these Principles for the sake of electing the most eligible person.

A word with my brothers in the Revolutionary Guard Corps and the Army

I wish to address a brief word in my dear, self-sacrificing brothers in the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and in the IRGC-like Army. You should set courage and the power to manage crises as the main criteria for appointing commanders. Naturally, I do not mention Wilayat, because Wilayat is not a part or a component of the Armed Forces, rather it is the basis for the survival of the Armed Forces. This condition is inviolable.

Another point is that you should gain a timely understanding of the enemy, his goals and his policies, and then, you must make decisions and act promptly. If any of these is carried out belatedly, it will have a major impact on your victory.

A word with the religious scholars and honorable Religious Authorities

I, a 40-year soldier in the field, would like to have a brief word with the honorable religious scholars and great Religious Authorities who cast light on society and eradicate darkness, in particular Grand Religious Authorities. Your soldier saw from a watchtower that if the Islamic Republic is harmed, religion and what you have endeavored hard to preserve and for which you have made every effort to develop expertise in, will be destroyed. This period is different from all other periods. If they take control this time, nothing will remain of Islam. The correct path to take is to support the Revolution, the Islamic Republic and Wali-Faqih without any reservation. You – who are the source of hope for Islam - should not allow others to make you hesitate.

All of you loved Imam and believed in his path. Imam’s path was the path of fighting against the U.S. and supporting the Islamic Republic and the Muslims, who are oppressed by the Arrogant Powers, under the flag of Wali-e-Faqih. Even with my flawed mind, I could see that some vicious individuals tried and continue to try to persuade influential Religious Authorities and religious scholars in society into silence and hesitation through the use of self-righteous gestures and words. It is clear what the truth is. The Islamic Republic, values and Wilayat-e-Faqih are the legacies of Imam Khomeini (may God bestow mercy on him). Therefore, they should be earnestly supported.

I see Hazrat Grand Ayatollah Khamenei greatly wronged and alone. He needs your cooperation and assistance, and you great personages should direct the society with your statements, meetings and support. If this Revolution is harmed, then the situation will not even be like the time of the cursed Shah. Even worse than that, the Front of Arrogance will do its best do promote sheer disbelief and deep deviation, which cannot be reversed.

I kiss your blessed hands (in humbleness) and apologize for these words. I would have liked to make these statements in my meetings with you in person, but it was not meant to be.

I ask everyone to pardon me

I ask my neighbors, my friends and my colleagues to forgive and to pardon me. I ask the soldiers of the Tharallah Division and the great Quds Force, who are a thorn in the eye of the enemy and a strong fortification against it, to forgive and to pardon me, in particular those who helped me in a brotherly manner.

I cannot avoid mentioning Hussein Poor-Ja’fari who helped me well-intentionally, like a brother with his child, and whom I loved in the same way that I loved my own brother. I apologize to his family and to all my revolutionary and Mujahid brothers who were bothered because of me. Of course, all the brothers in the Quds Force showed me brotherly love and helped me, including my dear friend General Qa’ani, who tolerated me with patience and dignity.
